I got to meet one of them while coaching hockey in Pittsburgh, a top hockey highlight of life for sure.

Speaking of Pittsburgh hockey, Jagr's ceremony last was great.  The Pens' performance: less so.

Hey, your team pulled off a nice win against Vancouver tonight! It's not so bad. Like my Tampa Bay Lightning losing 9-2 at home against the Panthers.
I don't know WTF happened there.  I watched the first period and Vassy was just off.  We were hot coming in but they have been on a tear.  I think the Panthers are really dangerous.  Either way, it's one game.  Just keep it going tonight against the Sens.

I loathed Jagr and his hair back in the 90s and early 00s.  Couldnt stand him, and was never a Lemieux fan.  Warmed up to him as he went on, and I am a fan now.  It is great he still plays professionally and he looks great.

It is awesome that he got to skate for warmups and skate on the ice for his jersey retirement.  Rarely/never get to see that.

Heading to Leafs/Sabres game tonight. Hoping to see Matthews get 60. Be extra sweet as I’m with brother in law and it’s his 60th birthday today. So hoping for some good karma! Go Leafs Go!

if the coyotes do indeed move to SLC, I hope new owner ryan smith installs a GM a little more competent than his BYU bro danny ainge, who has turned the jazz into absolute garbage.

the team will be the same but they’ve taken 29,000 requests for season tickets and the Delta Center was full just for some “meet the team” thing. there are some lame names being considered.

nashville’s loss today was the definition of “brutal.” haha.

They will be supported as long as the team is decent.  If they give the people a decade of ineptitude, people won't support it.  They will have a honeymoon period of a few years to get things straight.

The NHL is a really bad entertainment product when your team is forever bad.

They should go with the Utah Saints!

@Wobbie that Vancouver/Nashville game was pretty insane. I am not sure how Nashville blew that one. gave up the game tying goal with like 5 seconds left in the game then lost it in the first minute of OT.

they support the Jazz and they suck big time. we have the small town inferiority complex so it makes the suckers feel like they are doing something “big time” by going to an NBA game. fuck danny ainge!

I tried to find the ol’ “win probability” graph for the predators but couldn’t. I’ll bet it was at like 98% with 3 minutes to go.

The Vancouver Canucks could win game 4 right now if they break the tie and score in the third period coming up. I think I finally moved away from being a Leafs fan to Canucks!

Canucks choked third period. 2-1 for predators with 5min to go.

Maybe that Sunday game between PJ shows will happen!

Canes Rangers should be a great series.
Finally broke down and got youtube tv for the playoffs, cuz espn isn't enough, they have to spread games out over all the platforms so we keep buying. Rant over.
I can watch some basketball now too for a month :)

Mostly ESPN, had max which had a few games on during the year. I'll use this until playoffs are done, but 73 a month?! craziness

I don't know.  That's cheap to me considering what I was paying Directv.  Plus it gives you like 8 logins so my daughter and son, who live on their own, use my account.  So it's $73 for full 'cable', as it were, and works for my kids.  I think it's a deal.

There are a few channels you'll lose (like NHL, MLB), but I hope they are added soon.  Other than that, I have no regrets.  DTV was absurdly expensive.

I like ESPN+ in that they cover most of the games, but it freezes on me a lot, and it takes to log to toggle between games.  Using Hulu for the playoffs, and like it much better.

Oh yeah compared to cable or direct or dish it's not much. Just a lot considering I'm light on the streaming services - hulu, disney, espn only here.
