Nobody is attending. Prices are too high/ridiculous. They also played with the stupid packages for too long (you need to buy all the games, then make smaller packages available, then finally sell individual game tickets at the last minute)... I love it, I bought packages the minute they went on sale... but anyone on the fence were priced out as well as Canadians with a weaker Canadian dollar and saturation of 2 overpriced tournaments in the past 3 years in TOR and MTL.
Turned on the US game for a bit last night....can't believe how empty that place was. Crazy. Silly that they only sell the tickets in packages at first. You would think that they would have changed things a bit when they were struggling to sell tickets even in Canada last time.
The NCAA frozen four was in Chicago last year and they had the same thing with packages. Prices were crazy expensive....I didn't even consider going once I saw the prices. For a sport that is nowhere near the level of the other 3 main sports in the US, these hockey organizations don't seem to be doing themselves many favors for attracting fans for these big events with the way with the ticket pricing/packages.
Any red wing fans here that attend games at LC arena? just wondering do they sell player t-shirts? Looking for a Frk #42 (on back), hopefully RW Logo on front, is there such a thing?

I would love that if they did. But still a lot of hockey to be played. I'm interested to see what moves they make by next week. I'm wondering if they bring up Tolvanen or send him to Milwaukee. He had a great Olympics
I also think the Preds look awesome...however there is a lot that can happen between now and the start of the playoffs.
Hoping that Carter rejoins the Kings soon and that we trade for Kane or Mad Max. Our d and goalie are good enough to lift another cup. Our offense is not. (May not even be good enough to get into the playoffs with how wild the West is.)
Brutal loss by the wings last night in OT 0.3 secs left, damn I was pissed. Always losing those close games....Cant believe they traded Mazerk- although RFA soon enough. HA Make no wonder he hasn't changed his goalie pads from red/white HA..
