    They were great. J Mascis is as unenthusiastic as he is talented. He had a triple stack of amps (six total). They played probably half of their new album and virtually no tunes off Beyond or Farm. :-(

    Feel the Pain, Little fury things, freak scene, in a jar, keep choppin were all played. I would have loved Get Me, but I think that's been retired from the sets. They ended the night with Out There which was ridiculously good. They played for 95 minutes with a little chatter from Lou Barlow and not much from j (no surprise). All in all, a great show and very affordable at 25 dollars. They could have easily filled first avenue--it must have been booked already.

    Yes it was the Brick for like two weeks. Then they shut it down since it was a shit show and did renovations and reopened as Mill City Nights. I can not say this name with a straight face - I find it quite ridiculous!
