    Soul asylum are playing some Midwest gigs this summer and are at the state fair on Sept 3 and 4..I wonder if they would consider opening for PJ. 
    I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

    In general, if a band already has dates that are on sale in a market, the promoter has the right to nix any additional local shows.

    The Soul Asylum shows at the state fair are “free” as in included with the admission fee ($17-18). Although I don’t see them playing 4 shows in 5 days.

    Has anybody been in the bar top seats at the top of the club level in Xcel? I've seen them walking past and thought they looked cool. Just got a pair for night 2.

    I love those seats.. you have easy in/out access and bars and bathrooms on club level are much faster to get to and get back to seats. You'll enjoy!

    Depends on what’s fancy pants to you..
     Meritage would be my choice The St. Paul Grill in the St Paul Hotel is nice. Mancini’s if you’re looking for steaks. Louis has a nice rooftop dining area, foods great, more casual. Or go to Selby Ave, LaGrolla, Handsome Hog, or WA Frost. On a Friday or Saturday, you’ll likely need a reservation for any of these places.

    This is very much appreciated. I’m a planner so going to look at these and make reservations.
