I may have been asked to run a certain pre-party again...and the dates may just be 8/31 and 9/1.  Location unknown but I'd guess Target Center or X since the Twins are at home on those dates and it's also (thankfully) not the state fair.

If it is true, we will know Monday
Hope these dates are fantasy! Will be out of town those dates!!!

    St. Paul
St. Paul if all you want to do is the show.  Beyond that is a bit of a snooze fest downtown. MPLS is the bigger twin and would have more to offer to do, depending on night life, how long you’d be here, what you want to do.  Ultimately, not that big that you couldn’t stay in either.  Send me a message.  Happy to give you specifics to look for etc.

The Current's Music On-A-Stick featuring The Hold Steady with special guests Bob Mould Band and Dillinger Four

That leaves 8/26 & 9/1 open at the State Fair Grandstand for Pearl Jam...

I can't imagine PJ playing the state fair. But I also realize this means they will now play the state fair

If this date is correct, this almost certainly eliminates Target Field given there's a Twins game on the 30th.

CHS Field would be an interesting place to see a show.  Parking and logistical nightmare getting in and out of there, but interesting regardless lol.

  • decided to get tix to the Arctic Monkeys Aug 25 at The Armory (my 13 year old daughter's favourite band) for a family road trip, very likely limiting my ability to see PJ in Minnie the following week (if that tour date rumour ends up true).

two 16 hour round trips in 10 days for two bands at 49 years old?

My wife suggested I make a week of it and go visit her brother in Green Bay for the week between. LOL.

I haven't missed a show in Minnesota (except the Target corp show). The problem is, I'll be Alaska for the summer. Guess I have to fly home from Alaska for the shows!

    Freakin' stoked.
