I like how the Current bracket could have easily turned into a PJ vs. Nirvana showdown. I wouldn't be surprised if that was deliberate. That "rivalry" is still burrowed into many people's minds,

Why is there always so much excitement around the start of baseball season? Is it simply the weather change?

The beginning of any major sports season is often met with great fanfare. I don't get too amped up for sports; I find they're more enjoyable when so much of your being isn't invested in the game.

Actually bummed but not surprised that the closest Van Halen show is Chicago this summer. I don't care how much of a train wreck it might be with DLR, I would love to catch them live once in my life.

A concert at the metrodome must have been terrible.

The Dome was not a concert venue.

I saw the Stones and U2 there in '97. The sound wasn't the best, more suited for football. Got to hear "Like a Rolling Stone" through. Probably my greatest concert moment ever. The energy in there was unbelievable.

Very pumped for the show at TCF. It'll be my 5th Stones show.

I agree with this. I spent 20 minutes yesterday trying to convince some friends that they'll be able to get tickets during the public on sale. They were sure it would sellout during the Amex presale.

The average ticket is going to be around $100 and I'm guessing there are going to be 65-70,000 tickets for sale. If you want to go, you can get a ticket.

Hope in Grace 6th Annual Fundraiser BUMP. Coming April 25th at 2pm to Blaine. 5K, silent auction, etc. I know you guys got a sniff of what this organization does with the St. Paul Preparty. I'd love it if any runners out there want to join us for a really fun afternoon. Message me for more details if interested or visit hopeingrace.org for registration info or if you'd like to donate something to the silent auction. Online auction begins Tuesday, 4/13 on biddingforgood.com where you can bid on items even if you can't make the event. HIG owes a lot to this group thanks to your previous generosity in October!

On a side note, we should set up some summer get-togethers at local breweries...look ahead to what will probably be an incredible 2016 year of PJ!

What a setlist! I sure hope I can score some good tickets. Will be a good one to take my pops to. Neither of us have ever seen the Stones. Definitely the last chance to do so.

Anyone score Stones presale tix today? Super pumped for this show!! STICKY FINGERS! My current favorite Stones album, though I'm loving more and more stuff as I dig into their catalog.

Got 4 Stones tickets....upper level for "only" $114 apiece. Anything lower bowl was $165 or higher, some over $300. In the building was all I cared. I believe there are nosebleeds available for $65

got tix. first set that came up were sec117 lower bowl corner $150 and stupidly passed on them hoping for better, more direct sightline seats, not realizing releasing the tix put me back in the queue (read the fine print, folks). alas, after getting a few 'no tix available' on subsequent searches, finally got a set of 4 in sec213. shoulda went with the first- the grass isn't always greener- but we're in the building.
