I've made some enemies on this thread.
About two months ago I had a threat of physical harm lobbed my way by someone who will be attending the show and a user on this board if he saw me. With alcohol present, I'm not going to take that risk. It's not a usual contributor to this thread. I'm too old to deal with that bullshit and people whose knee jerk reaction is violence.

    ...not cool...

    Hope you change your mind!

I have been thinking a Dylan song will be played here and was hoping for an Imagine/Masters of War combo. I would not complain if Undone was played, though.

Just please don't start a thread requesting this or that song. I'm very proud the St. Paul show has stayed out of that territory.

Given your expectations and the placement of the gig in the touring schedule, are you expecting a below average, average or above average show in MN? (This is all relative as PJ is a great live band).

I am just happy to be able to go to the show, regardless of what is played. Unless one of the band asked me in person what I wanted to hear, I could never bring myself to make a request of them. I think this is going to be an above average show due to it being towards the end of the tour and a night off the day before.

How early are folks planning to arrive to wait in the GA line? I've never had the chance to get GA tickets so I'm excited for that. I've never really been close to the stage.
    You will try.

how close are you wanting to get? if you want to be rail near eddie, you'll probably want to show up in the morning. but if you don't care if you're 20-30 feet back on mike or stone's side, then you don't need to get there early at all and can come join the pre-party at the amsterdam.

This is my first standing GA as well. I won't be waiting in line though as I've had some pretty phenomenal reserved seats in the past, as well as winning the floor lottery once when it was seated. But from what I've seen last fall and in Cinci this year is you can wait til doors open and still get about 8-10 "rows" deep. I wouldn't press it much beyond that, though. Once everyone gets their beer & merch, it fills up pretty quickly. Good luck and I hope you get a great spot!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure I want to spend all morning in line. I saw them last year in Seattle and Wrigley, so I feel spoiled. I'm going with a family member who has never seen them, so he'll enjoy it wherever we land. I'll likely show up a bit before the 10C window opens. That should get me fairly close (I hope).
    You will try.
