I'll be in St Paul with reserved. Got a great crew heading up there after Moline and then on to Milwaukee.

Really looking forward to this show and meeting some Minny PJ fans.

Sweet! There may be something in the works for a Saturday night 10c meetup somewhere (hosted by the MN kids for the out of town people). Keep an eye on the thread for details.

Airport is closer to downtown St. Paul than Minneapolis, and you should have plenty of options for transportation (cab, light rail, car etc). Stay in downtown St. Paul if you're looking to avoid renting a car. Stay in Minneapolis if you rent a car.

Come one, come all. The Twin Cities are a great area. St. Paul is more historic and Minneapolis more happenin'. This is a great list for tourists.

I don't want "Go" or "My Father's Son".

I'll go along with no "Tremor Christ" but sub in "Big Wave" or "Unemloyable"

And I'll have as many openers as I'd like

So happy for you and H

Happy for everyone. Maybe it's just stupid naive fandom, but the announcement of a hometown show has made this year infinitely more bright. We've got trips, shows, weddings of dear friends, weekend vacations...but that's true of everyone on this thread it seems. Lots of people taking trips, getting married, seeing PJ multiple times etc.

Like I said, 2014 started out rough (for me), but it's turning into something great.

The PJ St. Paul show really lifted my spirits. It has been a tough year for me.

    1. Dad's Parkinson's is taking it's toll
    2. End of a six year relationship with my girlfriend.

I'm glad I have something to look forward to when life is rough.

  • evenflow82evenflow82 Posts: 3,891
Weather will probably be a little brisk with some beautiful fall colors.

My birthday is in late October and I can remember some being in the 70's and some preparing for a blizzard. Check the forecast and come prepared. :-)

Ah yes, the Halloween blizzard, I remember it well, I think with all the rain we've had that the fall colors will be spectacular! Can't wait till October! \m/
