Our power came back on at 430pm yesterday. Thankfully, yesterday didn't hit 90F like it was forecasted.

i DROVE through the worst of that storm friday. i don't know what i was thinking. i was on 280 and couldn't see no more than 20-30ft in front of me and so i pretty much stared at the white line along the median hoping to just make it to industrial blvd and the holiday station right by there. i did get there, but after seeing all the damage around town i wish i would have just pulled over.

i just moved to northeast mpls and now the first thing i get to deal with is the retaining wall giving way. we put up some posts and used luggage straps to wrap around the posts and a nearby tree to hold back the planks so the wall doesn't collapse/break open. it's holding up, but i'll be nervouse should we get another similar storm.

I've been on a Pearl Jam hiatus for quite awhile. Still no MN date I see. What else have I missed?

My wife and I had a son this past week (Caden). So, we've added one to the Pearl Jam army! He's already speaking and his first sentence was "Daddy, please get Pearl Jam to play Minnesota!" After saying that he went back to his regular rhythm of crying and pooping.

Yeah, I am antsy because I have to wait until he's a bit bigger before I can dress him up in his first PJ onesie!

I got ripped on bringing my little sister to her first concert. She actually traveled to Milwaukee to see fun. with her friends at some sort of outside show. I was a little sad by her choice, but glad she did it. When I expressed my sadness of not taking her to her first show, she said, "Well, that was an outdoor show. You still have dibs on my first indoor show!"

So, that being said.....c'men PJ!!! Make this happen! Pearl Jam in the Xcel for Derek and Tess!! Then, everyone in my family will have seen Pearl Jam in the Xcel. Me. Mom. Dad and Tess. It needs to happen!
