I remember them once playing I Believe In Miracles twice, once early, slow, and later in the encores, faster

  • Has a fan ever come to stage to sing/play before?? That's everybody's wet dream i think.

They did play In The Moonlight, right before Black. Show was great. Ed's voice was a little scratchy when he spoke, but show rocked!

Ed's obviously sick....he took a drink of his wine when they first came on stage and then didn't touch it again until the last encore. He was drinking out of a mug the entire night, most likely tea or hot lemon water or something....he had it refilled several times. And was blowing his nose on stage..... Poor guy, he was a trooper and did a hell of a great job considering!!!

Sick ?!?! Get your rest today Ed,..need you in Calgary and Edmonton !

In Düsseldorf 2007 he pulled someone with a Ramones shirt up on stage to let him sing I believe in miracles. The guy refused to sing it though and was just rocking out to it on stage instead.

These set lists when they're not supporting any album in particular are interesting.

I was thinking maybe they would do a version of "Santa Cruz," except substituting "Saskatoon" for "Santa Cruz," but I suppose the Guess Who song makes more sense.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Anyone see the setlist to see if they left anything off? I always want to know while at the same time I don't want to know.. 8-)

I'm so freakin jealous I've missed the festival, and all the Canadian set lists have all looked stellar so far! Give me repeats all day long as long as it's PJ. Staring to jones for an USA tour. Just need some time to fill the coffers. :D

It was a fantastic concert. Nice shout out to the wives of the band. The playing of Just Breathe and Unthought Known was special, as these were two songs I had on my wedding playlist when I married my wife in 2010. She was with me at the show. As an aside, she is not a big rock concert fan (I drag to a show now and then), and even she was nodding her head when the show picked up in intensity. That's as clear a sign as she has given that she was having a good time!

I loved the concert. Having been at their first show in Saskatoon 6 years ago, it was great to hear PJ tackle Running Back to Saskatoon again. To quote Eddie,"I fucked it up last time because I had too much to drink. I fucked it up this time because I didn't drink enough!" And later after the Fixer,"I'd really love to fix that damn Saskatoon song." And they did. Fun night all around. I hope they come back soon.
    I am mine.
  • I bet you this Brian can't wait for the boot for this show. How awesome would it be to sing with the band? Picks and setlists are one thing; this is on a completely different level.

I like the setlist up until the encore where it falls a bit flat. I think I'd be a bit disappointed with the encore given how out there the actual setlist was. Still, every Pearl Jam show is an event and this one looked to be good. The apparent absence of fanclub members is an added bonus. Hearing about people with fanclub numbers in the 200 and 300 thousands sitting in the first ten rows is crazy! It must have an been amazing experience for those members.
