[Stupid office humor] Elevator over/under

so we have a 7 story building, with a basement. 8 elevator stops...

how many times do you think you could go from the basement to the top floor on a friday afternoon at 3:15 without anybody else getting on.

i would say we are about 70-80% full.

i planned on using a regular starting in the basement.

Where I used to work, it was 17 floors and I would use the service elevator and I would shoot right on up to the 16th floor.

But I was also in good with all the maintenance guys so nobody bothered me about using the service elevator.

Your place, at 3:15 on a Friday, the odds are probably pretty good.

If it's any place like this place, most of the people are out of here by 3:15 on a Friday.

I'm going with three. Once up, then down, then once up and then you'll get hit.

my concern is the smokers...seems like they are aways going in and out.

wow... not even one full ride.

just thinking about it..the up part has to be the least risky....i'd say on average when i go from the basement to my floor, i stop at the lobby once every 3rd or 4th trip....coming down is going to the hardest part, since on the down swing, any floor going down could get on, unlike the up ride, where only the 1st floor is going to get on. make it past the first going up and you are golden to the top....except for the 5th to 6th floor...i think there is a company that has offices on both. :?
