Hate it when bands say they are playing the UK and it's only 2 shows, very poor! :(
I agree, it sucks, and looks certain i can't make it, so hopefully for 2013 the band will do a proper arena tour taking in scotland, england, ireland, wales. but somehw i doubt it.
i love this band but getting really pissed of at their touring habits, so hopefully this IS just a stop gap.

I tend to think these days tours instead of just promoting the latest album is a way of financing the recording process of the next one. 2007 & 2008 was a good example of that. I think this is how things will always be with the increase of digital over physical sales and illegal downloads of course. Scandinavia missed out for long enough and next time they probably will again so PJ can return to places like Greece, Scotland, Croatia, Switzerland, etc. They can't keep everyone happy and we're definately not the only ones suffering. At least they're just down the road for most of us unlike Asia and most of Eastern Europe. They haven't toured the South of the US for a long time and they don't need to in their own minds obviously or they'd be touring there. Maybe to them Manchester, IOW, London is just a local gig for those who live in Scotland or Wales. I will follow them if they come in touching distance but I'm not so dedicated that I'll put family issues aside to go to far flung places when they could reward loyalty to fans of 20 years...

I ain't forgetting this thread in a hurry!! There's still time to decide on another show for 2012 and it may as well be a warm up for the Manchester shows on June 18th at Glasgow Barrowlands!! Shepherd's Bush 2009 is a great example of how this can be a success. Barrowlands would be legendary!!

Was just thinking about this thread last nite, wondered if it was still 'Alive' get it..
Anyway I think we, and I mean all members of 10C are due something from PJ to make amends for another ticket pre-sale disaster.The main reason I think most people join is the chance to get tickets, could be wrong tho.So a fans only show at the Barras before the tour starts should in my opinion really be considered.If not the Barras then there are other venues that would be great,Edinburgh Playhouse, Newcastle City Hall or the Royal Albert Hall, plenty others to. And a fans only show means a fans only show , tickets only sold through 10C for members, 1 ticket per member.What a nite that would be, I can but dream. Will be at the Manchester shows in June and fingers crossed a wee show before

Sorry pal, the play Scotland is a dream that will hopefully happen one day. The fans only show now that could be anywhere in the UK, your choice of venue if you want, I just want it to happen.It would be a good way of making up for the pre-sale disaster as all we got was sorry, it wasn't our fault and it took ages.Just my thoughts on it.
