Ive heard a few people recently post negative shit about setlists lately or them beiung predictable...

Ive seen 30 shows and have approx 500 in the collection... I think there setlists over the past couple years are anything BUT predictable... They have a group of songs they play alot on a certain tour, and sometimes their Festivals setlists are a little predictable, but on a normal night when they play their 28-30 a night ... Anything can and does happen still... especially in encores but even this start tonight... Ill go as far as to gurantee they have Never started with those exact 5 songs before... GOOD STUFF!!!
    1998 Tour- Hartford 9/13
    2000 Tour- Saratoga 8/27 Boston 8/29, 8/30
    2003 Tour- Albany 4/29 Boston 7/2,7/3,7/11 Philadelphia 7/5,7/6 MSG 7/8,7/9
    2004 Tour-
    Boston 9/28,9/29
    2006 Tour-
    Albany 5/12 Hartford 5/13 Boston 5/24,5/25
    2008 Tour-
    MSG 6/24,6/25 Hartford 6/27 Boston 6/28,6/30 Eddie- Boston 8/1
    2009 Tour-
    Eddie- Albany 6/9 Philly Spectrum- 10/30, 10/31
    2010 Tour-
    Hartford 5/15 MSG 5/20,5/21
    2011 Tour-
    Eddie- Hartford 6/18
    2013 Tour- Worcester,MA 10/15,10/16 Hartford 10/25
    2016 Tour- MSG 5/1,5/2 FENWAY 8/5,8/7
    2018 Tour- Fenway 9/2, 9/4 (My 40th show)!
  • Great start ... a lot like PJ20 night 1 so far ... maybe they'll actually play ATY, Crown of Thorns and I Got Shit

People are crazy if they think PJ is predictable. Of course they've got staples, and it makes sense to play a lot of material from the newest album. I'd be bummed if they became like the Stones or U2, barely playing any new material. No other rock band plays this much variety. Maybe Springsteen and E-Street are on par, and they have much more material than PJ to draw upon.

sweet setlist so far, don't think it can compare to Montreal but I guess you never know
  • People that whine about set lists are spoiled babies. Were so lucky to have this band and what they do for us fans is unbelievable. People that complain about even flow, i can't believe it. Stop whining and be grateful.

    Awesome setlist tn as always.

Springsteen isn't even close. He plays maybe 15 repeats a night.

Catching up to this beautiful set!

If I had a passport, I'd have been at these two shows I believe.

I love that they are coming out swinging early!

Is that right? His fans rave like he plays 120 different songs in a row or something. That does really put things in perspective.
