Wishlist Foundation 5th Anniversary
It's always awesome when a show happens to fall on your birthday and we're super stoked that the Ottawa show falls on Wishlist Foundation's 5th anniversary on September 14!
Wishlist Foundation was conceived in 2005 but wasn't formally organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization until 9/14/06. It has been an amazing experience, and though we had some rocky moments, it helped shaped the organization into what it is now. Wishlist is you, is me, is all of us and will continue to be as long as we let it...
To have even the tiniest part in building the friendships and family this community now experiences is an honor and blessing. We all feel incredibly thankful that we've been trusted by this community with your time, money and faith and we will continue to work our butts off doing what we do.
It's truly a humbling feeling to look back and see the little cells of people doing bits of preparties back in the day and compare it to the monstrosity of the PJ20 weekend where we had over 1,300 people in attendance.
Together, we have raised over half a million dollars.
That's a lot of t-shirts and raffle tickets.
To have even the tiniest part in building the friendships and family this community now experiences is an honor and blessing. We all feel incredibly thankful that we've been trusted by this community with your time, money and faith and we will continue to work our butts off doing what we do.
We're asking everyone who will be at the Ottawa show to wear any kind of Wishlist t-shirt in support of our 5th anniversary and we look forward to seeing you at the preparty!
