At the D.C. show this year, Ed spotted a guy in the front row with the Into the Wild shirt on and said "hey thats cool." and recreated the pose on the monitor in front. He didn't say it on the mic. I only hear him cause i was in the 3rd row!

Up here so high I start to shake...
Up here so high the sky I scrape...
I'm so high I hold just one breath here within my chest...
    Just like my innocence...

Really? You have a link to these outtakes?

I don't have a link, but he's right. I had seen that picture many times before the movie came out. You can tell it's Eddie from 1998 if you look close anyway.

as for the original question, i don't think it "means" anything. I think it kinda represents Eddie's personality and closeness to nature, but I don't think his pose is meant to symbolize anything specific.

    :)

"But for some reason, he was particularly fascinated by the Quasimoto - the stance invented by Mickey Muñoz. The Quasimoto consisted of crouching near the nose of the board like a hunchback, with one arm extended forward and the other stretched behind. It looked great in the famous Surfer photo of Muñoz by John Severson. But it was not the kind of thing you’d actually do unless you knew you were being photographed."

Here’s a question you might need to ask

Then you put your left arm out and put your right arm back....you know the rest. Does anyone else want to and a move?

Think of it, I could picture Stone doing the vogue.

He actually is my little guitar hero, he is 6 and is starting lessons soon. I started figuring when he can finish Guitar Hero on Expert, I might be onto something. Future McCready maybe?

That right, at least it sounds right. I mean horses kinda head bang, bobbing they heads up and down. and Stone was born the year of the horse.

    quote]

I've seen his mom -- she's gorgeous. We were at the Gorge shows - my husband is the foolhardy soul who chose to sit in the sun in the empty seats for 2 hours before the (2nd) show in 2006, while your very pregnant missus and I sat in the shade by the sound booth.

Sure wish they'd play the Gorge again. Soon.
