I learned it Friday at work, but...

The term boredom was first coined in 1852 by Charles Dickens in his book Bleak House....

I've known that for a while! people were freaked out that natural red food coloring was made from crushed beetles (http://www.livescience.com/36292-red-food-dye-bugs-cochineal-carmine.html), so Starbucks had to go back to using artificial colorings.

I knew about the beetles, because my hubby told me this red soda I like probably had them in it but it turned out it was artifically dyed red....lol But yeah the Beaver thing is nasty!!! LMAO!

I don't generally like cherry flavored things (when I was a kid all medicine was cherry flavored-yuck) but I love Shirley Temples...used to like cherry 7up, but now it tastes gross. image

I love this tidbit. Just another little thing to keep in mind when people say "but it's all natural, it must be good for you".
