Its Official...the opening song for WPB will be..

  • Breakerfall doesn't have enough kick for my taste to start off the show. It is a tweener song. It isn't a cool slow opener like Release, and isn't a kick you in the teeth song with a fast start like Go or DTE. I think it has to do with just the one guitar going at the beginning. Just seems quiet for about 8 seconds, like you are waiting for the song to start.

    BREAKERFALL!!!

I'm going with Inside Job. Florida has never seen it live.
  • I bet they go with Corduroy, they like that as an opener. My three fav. openers are:

    Go
    Brain of J
    Animal

Those all wake the crowd the eff up.

I predict it will be "all night"

    girl can dream, yeah? :D
  • one other thought, they could start with Oceans, since they are in WPB. Or In Hiding would be an ironic opener, since they are coming out of hiding and all. It's a reach, I know, just love the song.

If Gone opens it up, I will get up from my seat, find my rental car, and fly back home.

Okay, I wouldn't do that, but Gone really sucks.

My god it's been too long, never dreamed you'd return. But now here you are and here I am.

    Seems appropriate.

    Not a bad guess.
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

  • I think this is a great suggestion. I think the way the song starts is a perfect opening for a show.

Yeah, I know. I just think that Inside Job in particular would be a cool opener with the effects and the mood.

I hope that the Florida shows get as much Avocado as they played on the last tour so that we can catch up a bit.

I'd rather have a bunch of stuff from Lost Dogs- we haven't had much from that either :)
