we got pearl jam, baby!!!!!! I have never missed a south florida show. It's been way too long. Don't know if they were avoiding us because:
1. south Florida audiences traditionally suck
2.it's a red state (all the more reason to play here!)
3. a guitar was stolen last time they were here
probably a combo, but us die hards couldn't be happier now. This time I'm taking the 14 year old son of a co-worker who is just getting into rock and learning guitar.he's never been to a rock concert. the kid is in for a real treat!

Okay, I wouldn't do that, but Gone really sucks.
No way Gone is awesome.
For the lights of this city
They only look good when I'm speeding
Gonna leave em all behind me
Cause this time
I'm gone
Amazing.

Noodles: Dont sell yourself short. Florida crowds may have sucked but ive never been to a florida show so expect that to change and Gone would make a HORRIBLE opener...
Im not the greatest fan of it anyhow, but as an opener, might ruin the rest of the show for me ..
Fuck it, im just happy to be goin at this point!
quite possibly the most stale lyrics out of the entire "self titled" album..

Actually that was in 1996.
well no shit, the only one im workin with
Gone would not be a good choice, i agree. it's not my favorite song from that album. Why dont they open with something that just bursts out of the gate, like blood? that would be awesome!

I would think that Blood would be hard for Ed to start with....
A lot of screaming in that song.
Last Exit, however, would be a great starter song!!!
what mandi said.

ha! same here. I will be the crazy Argie singing to the guitar parts. Hopefully.

Release to open would be great. It'd be the first time I get to see it since my first show back in 1995.
that rules! It would be great if we could get a whole chant goin on
See you soon!
