Cool that they released a show and #1 implies that there is more to come, but ONCE AGAIN they release it incomplete. Baba O'Riley left off.

    Sucks they're leaving covers off...I can't believe they'd get in trouble since they put them out on all current boots.

    I wouldn't think it would be a rights issue, since they've released other versions of Baba O'Riley.

    I wonder if it's just a matter of not having a good enough recording of the song. But yeah, i'd rather have a shitty version than no version.

    I'd like to think they're not shafting us.

    Just beat me to it! The only thing I'm guessing is that the show (with Baba) is more than 79 mins and they had to chop it off for time restraint reasons.

    Incidentally, that was also the first ever performance of Baba so it would have been nice if it was included.

    it's not. there is a complete audience tape of the show and it's 73 mins.

    as someone said, these were included for travel package purchasers. jambayleaf was kind enough to send pics.

    I'm sure it will either be sold at the show and/or through the 10C later.

    I think we'll all be getting copies of this with our 10C tickets. Remember, they said goodies at the 10C window!

    All their "official" live releases leave off the covers - the shows that came with backspacer, drop in the park, orpheum, etc. But I'll take a good quality incomplete show any day!

    THat's what I can't figure out. PLUS... this was a freebie so there's no even a 'profit-sharing' issue.

    Hopefully they'll release complete shows once they get this going... would suck to have an early show cut out I've Got a Feeling or other covers that aren't on the more current boots.

    maybe the tape ran out, but it shouldnt at a <80 min. show. I'd prefer that they release a complete straight SBD tape rather than an incomplete multi-track recording. who knows.

    I'm thinking just 'cause it's free to us, it may not be free to them. Wouldn't they have to pay to release that song? The old expression... "don't look a gift horse in the mouth." WTF is a gift horse?

    the fact that they released something and it has "VAULT" in it is good! It means they are truly moving forward with THE VAULT! I am 1500 miles away and not going but very happy that this is being released to us!!

    Pretty sure the covers get left off of all the free/promo stuff... 12/31/92, Backspacer freebies etc... Strange they're not on Orpheum etc... think it must have to do with songwriting royalties. Even the 2006 bootlegs that are now on itunes, all the covers are "album only."

    Pretty fucking cool though!

    How about sound quality here. Is it more 12/31/92 sound quality or more Orpheum/Drop In the Park sound quality.

    I sure hope it's available on the Canadian leg for us.
