    Its a gimmick. Just like the Meg wife/sister controversy and being the drummer for his latest band and starting Third Man Records and releasing all these weird pieces of vinyl. Just another reason to talk about him.

    i thought it was funny. never a fan of ICP but i like the creativity. No reason to hate on Jack White.

    not sure why this would surprise people. he has collaborated with many folks outside the rock music scene. this is just another instance. in fact the many projects he has going on is sort of his trademark.

    the guys obviously super talented, but for me, he just has too many projects and stuff going on. how many bands can the guy be in (pre-white stripes break up at least). I tend to think his overexposure damages him in a way.

    he's hardly the bastion for rock purity too. writing a song for a coke commercial. working with pop stars. didnt he do a bond theme song?

    he;s worked with norah jones, as well as alicia keys. and he was married to a model and once dated renee zellwegger

    as i said the guys hugely talented, but to suggest he is or was some sort of fugazi or ian mackaye like character is pretty absurd.

    There's no real reason to hate on Jack White for this. Who cares?

    Look at all the collaborations Ed has done with numerous, various artists. I'd be lying if I said I liked all of those but it sure doesn't mean I'm gonna hate on Ed or not listen to Pearl Jam anymore. Same thing applies to Jack and his bands. I'm still gonna listen.

    I have the same thoughts about ICP. I don't like their music, but I admire their work ethic and drive. They should have only had a three year window in the music industry, but they have forged a career through shear willpower and no support from the music industry.

    Perhaps Jack White will show up at next year's Gathering of the Juggalos ....

    I lost it at about minute 2, I was choking from laughter from that point. It's just so silly.
    Without the yapping I think it's gorgeous blend, would make awesome film music.
