Then you don't look at what 15-25 year olds wear.
Am I dressing too young for my age? All of my friends wear hi tops!

Who cares!! :D The only pair of shoes I wear now are my Docs... work, play, weddings, or wherever else my feet go :lol::lol: Though I was a frequent shopper at the Vans outlet store in my youth. Hopefully these are still available next week!

My wife said, "Oh I love those shoes, I want them"
And sadly she is correct, these look like girl shoes...
Also on the same day I recieved my "analog" shirt.
For such a creative and artistic band, they sure put out some ugly merch.
Purple plaid... What the hell were they thinking???

I wonder if they would be available for sale @ the merchandise tables up here. All they need to offer now is PJ jeans. Soon they will start having their very own PJ dressing rooms @ the events.

Been busy this week and just looked at these in the Good section...if the size is grayed-out, does that mean the size is sold-out or has not yet become available? I'm a 13 and would really like a pair of the hi-tops!

On the vans site, they have the slip on style but in Hi Top, but that is it.

I just received my slip ons in the mail. A little disappointing! The box is just a plain Vans box and no PJ tissue paper. The shoes look sweet though! I will contact 10C I think.
  • mvwmvw Posts: 1,691
Just so everyone knows, 10C said the slip ons do not come in a PJ box or with PJ tissue poster. Just the shoes in a regular Vans box with Vans tissue. They said they could be returned and that they would edit the description in the Goods Section. I bought these more as a novelty, with the possibility of maybe wearing them every so often when I was feeling funky. I might have to return these. I really thought the box & tissue they have pictured in the Goods looked pretty sweet!

Don't let the box or tissue ruin the purchase for you. I'll be recycling both whether they have PJ written on them or not. Put those shoes on and walk around like you're Alpha Male.

Thanks for the info, and you should keep the shoes! Glad to hear you got yours, hopefully mine will get here today as well.

Did they just add that though or was it there the entire time?

They just edited that about 20 minutes ago after I spoke with them.

I think this part was already there. They likely just recently removed the info about the tissue paper. It's still listed on the Hi tops page though.

It was there the entire time. Always thought it was weird that they mentioned it...

You are correct. It was just the tissue part they removed. When I spoke with them they said just the slip ons do not come with the tissue. The hi tops should have the tissue, just not the guaranteed box I guess???
  • Well I bought them for the shoes not the box, but I imagine some people aren't going to be happy about this.
