I have no idea! I just know when the hydraulics lift the hatch, it's a very big, black motor that looks quite serious.
And Dissidentman _ propellers are wicked overrated.
Funniest remark by a passerby when we were tied up to the dock, staring down at the outdrive and the gaping hole where the propeller shaft used to be... guy walks by, stops. Stands beside us, gazing down.

"I take it this isn't a jet boat?" Walks away.

clearly you need to drop in a LS motor. sea doo's highest rater motor was only 300 hourse. we need to get you up to 600+
Ever considered just staying home? Its much cheaper.
You must have a really close relationship with your insurance adjuster. Maybe you should invite him on your boat. Oh wait...yah, that'll have to wait till next year I guess.
Seriously....just stay home this weekend...the odds are obviously against you.

The Unlost Dogs are marooned this weekend. Our toys are broken.
Boat at dealer, hoping they can make it move again.
Camping trailer at dealer, hoping they can make it stop raining inside.

You should probably just order delivery on your long weekend at home...Or maybe just throw together a nice salad. Best stay away from cooking or baking.

please don't touch my truck at pj20. thanks in advance.
I think a new one of these with an alarm on it would be a good idea....
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
remember the pic you sent to BD and Green Circle....Re: MMJ?

at least she's getting used to life in the trailer now...it wont come as so much of a shock when it becomes her permanent residence. I just hope its not snowing inside if/when that time comes.

Okay, just to clarify... Mr. Unlost was stone cold sober, as he never drinks to excess, and is especially cautious when he's driving the boat.
However, that being said, he is a complete technology junkie and I suspect he was so busy playing with the chart plotter and following the lines from the last time we entered this harbor, that he didn't notice the giant navigational thingamajiggie that warns you, "Hey! There are big-ass rocks here! Get away, dude!"
Of course, I was sitting in the stern at the time, enjoying a beer while Sailor the Lab dozed with his head on my lap. I remember seeing the big navigational thingie maybe 20 feet off our starboard side, and idly thinking to myself, "I wonder what that's for?"
Then... THUNK.
It's all Stone's fault. It was a big-ass rock, you know.
whoa whoa whoa...slow down with the technical jargon...not all of us are sailors ya know
giant navigational thingamajiggie=depth sounder, which is a sonar based navigational piece of equipment, it will give you a 'picture' of the bottom of the body of water you are merrily bobbing away on...nicer, high end models have an alarm that goes off when you are in shallow water, or are about to hit a rock.
I suggest unlost find a diver to retrieve her props so she can say, "Lookit these $10K paperweights I got!"
