2/19/92 is obviously not the ONLY show from 1992 that wasn't taped, and there's dozens from 1991 that we don't know much about. However, 2/19 is legendary for the band showing up, seeing how tiny the venue was, and going out and renting acoustic instruments and deciding to play an impromptu "Unplugged" set (obviously taking into account the near disaster on the tiny stage at Sorpasso in Milan the night before). It's been referenced many times in old interviews, but nothing has ever leaked about the show itself. For YEARS, the old trading community tried to track this show down, but to no avail... word has it that a taper in Switzerland who was a popular face on the local music scene was allowed to plug into the board, but he's never allowed the tape to circulate. For many of us who have been collecting PJ recordings for almost 20 years now, we've been desperate to get our hands on this one - so when a 1 second clip from the balcony surfaced in the PJ20 trailer, it was pretty freaking awesome.
A big part of this was that a lot of the '91 dates weren't known in the mid-90's, but this one was known from the very start. Shows like 1/10 and 1/11/91 (which would be incredible to get our hands on as well) weren't even known to exist in the old days - they've only been tracked down by the hard work of people like JR, Kathy, and Jess at TFT. So 2/19/92 has had over 19 years to build up it's "holy grail" reputation.
Thanks for this

I didn't doubt Cameron and am a bit disappointed now....by what you ask?
by the COMPLETE NEGLECT OF ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS IN ROCK'N ROLL ALL TOGETHER. Freakin' Not even one song from NO CODE??? Are you serious?
Oh and please do not try to explain to me it is a soundtrack because that makes the whole situation even sadder. So, does that mean the era of No Code didn't have any significance in Band's 20 years at all? I find that hard to believe.
For you this is obviously a pisser, for me not so much, so Im not gonna argue over it but I will say that just because its not on the soundtrack it doesn't mean No Code is not well represented in the footage / additional music throughout the film. I've been guilty myself of looking at this as another PJ release and trying to work out what I wanted to see in the track listing until someone pointed out the most obvious thing - its an accompaniment to the film. So there is reason to whats on there and what isn't. Granted this wont please some people, and I dont mean that in a smart way, as there are certain songs / albums / times in the PJ history they feel should be represented.
Im gonna wait until I see if next month and then make my calls. Or maybe I'll wait until "PJ20 Part II - more music inspired from the film"
give me that demo of the masterpiece.......lke ...right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't have agreed more. They'll obviously talk about that period in the film and have music from it.

BS is covered by "Need to Know," which is the demo of what became the Fixer, and "Just Breathe."
Stand corrected. Just Breathe is on there. Missed that one. So BS is represented, I guess... The line above confuses me though; so Need to Know is the demo of The Fixer *and* Just Breathe; or do you mean BS is represented by Need to Know and Just Breathe? (I guess the latter.) Is this the same bootleg that Matt aired on a radioshow not too long ago. Different vocal line; it wasn't bad...

Totally understand - they are two cities which are roughly 20 KM apart. However, based on the clip from the trailer, and the fact that tracks 2-5 would be in perfect choronological order, it was an extrapolation. That said, Uniondale being listed as the location for Bu$hleaguer, despite being as far from NYC as Winterthur is from Zurich means you are probably right. It was more wishful thinking on my part... That, and Mr. Crowe is pretty well aware of the fact that 2/19/92 is the holy grail of old PJ shows.
Time will tell.
How come it's a holy grail of old PJ shows?

Its nice to hear something from Taipei '95 too. I've never seen anything for that show. Also, I dont have any audio for Manila '95 night 1. Just bad audio for night 2. And the other '95 show is 3-21 Brisbane night 1, in which I only have a few songs for.

You’ve been waiting patiently and the tracklisting for the Pearl Jam Twenty soundtrack was unveiled throughout yesterday via a Twitter scavenger hunt on PJ20.com. These clues were scattered all over the world and the first person to correctly identify a song was awarded with a limited edition PJ20 poster. Here’s a pic of the clue for “Black” which was displayed at Times Square. Kind of a Vanilla Sky moment, huh?
The soundtrack features 29 songs spread over two CD’s when it’s released on September 20, 2011. A vinyl version is also forthcoming. Disc one is dedicated to songs featured in the film, while disc 2 focuses on demos and rarities. The soundtrack was curated by Cameron and will feature his liner notes and track by track thoughts.
