"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
I hope that's an error (but it's not) cause 2 tracks played back to back of the same song is a little bit weird when it's listed in the middle of side 2 of the CD release.
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
I had a feeling you'd be extremely happy about that.

Hahaha..I like the looks of the track listing. But it is certainly questionable at least to have 2 versions of 1 song on the album...back to back. I wonder how different they will be?
Ok, what's the deal with these live performances? We already heard them all
They said it will be 29 rare and unreleased tracks. Alive, Betterman, RVM, Faithful,...those are not rare tracks. It's like haveing another LO10L :P
depends what years they are from...could be stuff we dont have. and if they are from any recent boots, they might actually sound good. recent boots sound like garbage
At least Blood from Auckland is from one of the 1995 shows for which there only exists terrible sounding audience bootlegs. My first show was the 24th, so I hope it's that one.

And last Exit being from Taipei, which has no know audio at all.

I imagine the demo segues into the other version.
That's what I'm thinking too.
In whcih case, could be pretty cool rather than lame, two tracks the same, one after another...

yeah, no way the demo is 6 minutes like the final version. will probably just be jeff. it will be a cool example of how the song evolved.

Yea, the one I have barely sounds like a demo, so I doubt its the one on there.

Totally understand - they are two cities which are roughly 20 KM apart. However, based on the clip from the trailer, and the fact that tracks 2-5 would be in perfect choronological order, it was an extrapolation. That said, Uniondale being listed as the location for Bu$hleaguer, despite being as far from NYC as Winterthur is from Zurich means you are probably right. It was more wishful thinking on my part... That, and Mr. Crowe is pretty well aware of the fact that 2/19/92 is the holy grail of old PJ shows.

2/19/92 is obviously not the ONLY show from 1992 that wasn't taped, and there's dozens from 1991 that we don't know much about. However, 2/19 is legendary for the band showing up, seeing how tiny the venue was, and going out and renting acoustic instruments and deciding to play an impromptu "Unplugged" set (obviously taking into account the near disaster on the tiny stage at Sorpasso in Milan the night before). It's been referenced many times in old interviews, but nothing has ever leaked about the show itself. For YEARS, the old trading community tried to track this show down, but to no avail... word has it that a taper in Switzerland who was a popular face on the local music scene was allowed to plug into the board, but he's never allowed the tape to circulate. For many of us who have been collecting PJ recordings for almost 20 years now, we've been desperate to get our hands on this one - so when a 1 second clip from the balcony surfaced in the PJ20 trailer, it was pretty freaking awesome.
A big part of this was that a lot of the '91 dates weren't known in the mid-90's, but this one was known from the very start. Shows like 1/10 and 1/11/91 (which would be incredible to get our hands on as well) weren't even known to exist in the old days - they've only been tracked down by the hard work of people like JR, Kathy, and Jess at TFT. So 2/19/92 has had over 19 years to build up it's "holy grail" reputation.

Yup I'll put my hand up in that I said in another thread I would be very surprised if there was anything on this that would really interest me and that I'd be buying it more for collection purposes - but Im glad to be proven wrong.
I can't believe you doubted Cameron Crowe.
I didn't doubt Cameron and am a bit disappointed now....by what you ask?
by the COMPLETE NEGLECT OF ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS IN ROCK'N ROLL ALL TOGETHER. Freakin' Not even one song from NO CODE??? Are you serious?
Oh and please do not try to explain to me it is a soundtrack because that makes the whole situation even sadder. So, does that mean the era of No Code didn't have any significance in Band's 20 years at all? I find that hard to believe.
I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...
The whole world will be different soon the whole world will be RELIEVED
I had a feeling you'd be extremely happy about that.
i had more than a feeling when i saw that...

Track 28: Betterman - New York, NY (Official release)
Track 29: Rearviewmirror - Los Angeles, Ca (Official release)
So that about sums it up - a nice handful of gems even for the most hardcore collectors, and for the more casual fan some really classic tracks that haven't been released outside of the small bootleg following. Pretty great job by Cameron of making everyone happy.
Brilliant!!!!

by the COMPLETE NEGLECT OF ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS IN ROCK'N ROLL ALL TOGETHER. Freakin' Not even one song from NO CODE??? Are you serious?
Oh and please do not try to explain to me it is a soundtrack because that makes the whole situation even sadder. So, does that mean the era of No Code didn't have any significance in Band's 20 years at all? I find that hard to believe.
No Code is the first Pearl Jam album I owned, or even listened to from beginning to end. It led me to buy the rest. Red Mosquito is one of my favorite PJ songs ever, so i'm with ya.

I hope that's an error (but it's not) cause 2 tracks played back to back of the same song is a little bit weird when it's listed in the middle of side 2 of the CD release.
hehe..what a surpise...

19/2 1992 isn't Zurich its Winterthur, two different citys, so I think its Zurich, Switzerland

Time will tell.
