Dont worry. Rent boys can all be bought. Just wait.
There is no such thing as a man who runs an ex-gay program who isn't a sexual predator. Kinda like unicorns. Except unicorns don't deny being gay.
I heard the same deal exists for Obama- any man that can prove he had sex w/ the Kenyan Marxist is entitiled to $10, 000.0 -

Yeah, in case they need to wipe their butts on something and the toilet paper is out.0 -

how does it feel to be a conservative these days when these are your presidential nominees?
at least paul finished second in this poll ...
It feels great.
I saw the light at the end of the tunnel yesterday- and it was Rick Perry. I can now see the end of the regime, and the final days of this loser's failed Presidency are not far...
Ps: w/ respect to unsung, Ron Paul is a gibbering moron, and completely unelectable (Unless you are Iranian or a heroin addict.)0 -

Sure, it's misguided at least and just hurtful at the worst, but c'mon.
No, not really. Read up on the history of those brain butcher camps. They're full of stories of sexualy abusing the teens, creepy "therapy" involving folding and weird bondage rituals and abuse.cincybearcat wrote:Rent boys huh? Could be said that your industry takes advantage of said Rent Boys too, no?
Who said anything about taking advantage of them? The rent boys are selling, the George Rekers' and Ted Haggards and Marcus Bachmanns are buying. But the rent boys have little incentive to keep quiet once the press stars offering five-figure checks.
I don't doubt it happens. But you generalized that it was all.
As far as the selling/taking advantage ... I'm fairly certain it is both.hippiemom = goodness0 -

Yeah. In case we need to "wipe our butts on 'something' and the TP is out."
geez....

what convictions do you speak of? not attacking just asking.0 -

If you ask me, trying to change someone's sexual orientation through therapy is by it's very definition, abuse.
But not everyone may see it that way.As far as the selling/taking advantage ... I'm fairly certain it is both.
You know... I'll tell you... I've worked both in a corporate environment and in the adult industry (which, honestly is pretty corporate itself these days) and the performers in movies are treated MUCH better than the corporate suits treat the guys in the mail room and even better than the corporate suits treat each other.
Our models are paid... well... and not taken advantage of at all.0 -

Oh, I'll be a BIG fan of the jury that finally convicts that man for war crimes.0 -

Yeah... I hear most porn stars go on to have really fulfilling and meaningful lives....
You've convinced me.
Where can I sign my kid up for the porn-apprenticeship? Lot of good opportunities to work w/ some really interesting people...
I'm sold.0 -
Parachute wrote:Yeah... I hear most porn stars go on to have really fulfilling and meaningful lives....
I mean... I think my life is pretty fulfilling. My doctor was a Colt model and my lawyer was the guy who directed "The Jersey Score" and "Finding Levi's Johnson."
Don't believe what you see in Boogie Nights. That was just a movie, not a documentary.Where can I sign my kid up for the porn-apprenticeship? Lot of good opportunities to work w/ some really interesting people...
I'm sold.
OK.. I WAS going to make a snarky comment about how I doubt that a biological offspring of yours could possibly have a "long enough... um.. resumé."
But to be honest... we actually do have a lot of people who intern at our studio. You might not approve of what we do but it's a business that's strong even in the depression handed to us by Bush and Boehner.0 -

I know not directed at me, but I don't care what you do. I just find it laughable that you think the adult video industry is better than corporate america.hippiemom = goodness0 -

Yes, but how much $ did each spend per vote? Have you seen that info? I haven't, but I'm going to go look for it.
Not to mention, I think it's funny that prior to the poll, all the media was saying Pawlenty needed to finish at least 2nd. Then Ron Paul finishes 2nd, almost winning and no one metions his name AT ALL. They only mention that this is now a 3 horse race with Bachmann, Romney, and Perry.
I need to do more digging into Perry, but to this point I'm voting for Roitt Romnaul for president.hippiemom = goodness0 -

And I find it laughable that you don't.
I worked in a corporate purchasing job and I saw LOTS of more drug abuse (people getting up from their desks and coming back 10 minutes later sniffing the remaining coke off their fingers) and sexual abuse (men harassing the women, screwing their secretaries), alcoholism (people coming back from lunch too drunk to focus for the rest of the day) and corruption (having week-long brainstorming sessions to figure out how to screw over our customers) than I've EVER seen in the adult industry.
And by the way... two of the three companies I've worked for are out of business and the third is on it's last legs. While... my industry is still going just fine. So...
What was your point?0
