    he's going to win it.
the saddest part is, all the hype in the news this week was this straw poll. When he wins, you won't hear a fuckin word about it. :x

I guess that's a good sign for Paul supporters, if you can get past the fact that Bachman was the one that beat him? What do you guys think?

I was there, just drove six hours home. The atmosphere was amazing, people were really energized over Dr. Paul. I got to meet him and he signed my pocket Constitution.

While I would have loved a first place finish, I am happy with this result. He was .9% behind Bachmann, 152 votes out of almost 17,000 cast and she probably spent more time there than any other, and she was born there. He had twice as many votes as the 3rd place finisher too.

  • I will be very interested to see, when we have a white president again, if all the "he believes in the constitution" people will still harp on and on about it.

I think we'll need to wait a few years. For all of our current president's faults, I think the majority of Americans aren't ready to abandon him.

    Really?

You the think progressive people who were so disgusted by George w Bush and the centrists who put him in power are ever going to vote for a nutjob like Michele Bachmann? That woman is the punchline to her own joke. You think those people will vote for Rick Perry whose record is going to be easy to expose as fiction once Jon Stewart starts paying attention?

Or Mitt Romney? He might have a chance... So would Ron Paul. But neither one of them is extreme enough to get the nomination. The republicans have shown us they want a far-right freak show. And if you thought the media evisceration of Sarah Palin was merciless... Wait until they really go for Marcus Bachmann. And you KNOW that if she secured the nomination, the gay ex-lovers will be lining up at 30 Rock to interview with Matt Lauer. In the gay media, his name is already "Ladybird Bachmann." Where there's that much smoke, there's a LOT of flame.

And don't you wonder why not a single one of her 20-odd foster daughters has come out to support her?

You don't think there's a few book deals in the making?

    Spill it. We want details.
  • There's already two papers that have advertised that they will pay any and all men who can prove they've had sex with ladybird Bachmann up to $10,000.

Dont worry. Rent boys can all be bought. Just wait.

There is no such thing as a man who runs an ex-gay program who isn't a sexual predator. Kinda like unicorns. Except unicorns don't deny being gay.

While I do understand your hatred towards people that do what he does...I'm thinking labeling all people that do that work as sexual predators is just a tad bit far...you might say bat-shit crazy far.

Sure, it's misguided at least and just hurtful at the worst, but c'mon.

Rent boys huh? Could be said that your industry takes advantage of said Rent Boys too, no?

No, not really. Read up on the history of those brain butcher camps. They're full of stories of sexualy abusing the teens, creepy "therapy" involving folding and weird bondage rituals and abuse.

Who said anything about taking advantage of them? The rent boys are selling, the George Rekers' and Ted Haggards and Marcus Bachmanns are buying. But the rent boys have little incentive to keep quiet once the press stars offering five-figure checks.

I heard the same deal exists for Obama- any man that can prove he had sex w/ the Kenyan Marxist is entitiled to $10, 000.

Yeah, in case they need to wipe their butts on something and the toilet paper is out.

    It feels great.

I saw the light at the end of the tunnel yesterday- and it was Rick Perry. I can now see the end of the regime, and the final days of this loser's failed Presidency are not far...

Ps: w/ respect to unsung, Ron Paul is a gibbering moron, and completely unelectable (Unless you are Iranian or a heroin addict.)

I don't doubt it happens. But you generalized that it was all.

As far as the selling/taking advantage ... I'm fairly certain it is both.
