Sorry but I gotta disagree, STP in their prime were virtually untouchable, and Scott moved around plenty (and they had far more classic songs than VR:

I've seen Scott numerous times with both STP and VR, and nothing will beat the time I saw STP in London about ten years ago - I'd rate it as being up there with any show by pretty much any band I've seen.

STP is superior in every way to VR, no argument there. I never said he didn't dance and move around with STP. That Plush vid is a perfect example of what I'm talkin about. He's movin around puttin on what I would consider appropriate stage move, but compare it to a good performance of most Contraband songs and he just seems manic. You can see what I'm talkin about by watching those 2 STP vids....on Trippin he's just all over the place and on Plush he's all over the place in a more subdued manner. Just comes down to the tempo of the songs really. I wasn't making a statement about the quality of his front man moves. You'd be hard pressed to find better than his.

back in the day, around the Purple and Tiny Music times, these guys were elctryfying live.

Now, it's knd of a best of type show. Perfect for Fairs and Casinos :)
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

it was good. a little short but pretty much a "greatest hits" setlist, which was good for me. wasn't sold out but it was pretty full. love that venue but drinks are pricey.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I just got back from Austin and was at that show. I really liked the Moody, sound quality was excelent. I thought STP put on a pretty decent show and did a good job including the crowd. Overall pleasant experience :)
