E.v. Memphis?

I'm getting excited. I hope this don't end up being a disappointment. Of course, even if we get lucky and Ed plays Memphis, I would probably get shut out on buying tickets........ I shouldn't be such a Debbie Downer, should I?

I'm getting excited about this show as well- it just makes sense. I couldn't afford to file any where for the other shows, but I could drive to this show. For some reason, I see an August 24th show date

A Memphis show in Aug. for the WM3 defense fund would make sense. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the defendents are supposed to go in front of a judge in either Aug. or Sep......If Gov. Beebe didn't shoot it down.

Don't worry, LF.

Dude's not always in the biggest hurry to relay info to me. But that usually means there's just nothing concrete at the moment.

I still think there's time to get something announced and ticket info out if they want to tack it onto the end of Ed's round two.

that's true. I would think though, we would hear something by the end of the month if it;s gonna happen, right?

What I don't understand is why would the DJ know about it ahead of time? Who tells them?

Ah, you never know who is connected to whom. In '95 I had a cousin who worked in ticketing at the Orpheum in Memphis. He was able to set aside 5 or 6 floor seats to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers for me and my friends.

Times like this make me wish he was still working there

Too bad he can't stretch out the tour until the 29th of Aug. We could see him play at the Orpheum on the 29th and stay over for Chaka Khan the next night.
