    I actually dont want this to happen now. I really dont even want to go through the pain of trying to get tickets. And there is a great chance ill get shut out anyway. Which would be even more painful once you decide you can go. Plus I dont want to spend more money right now on another show.

    I can understand that. Id probably feel the same way if they had warmup gig in Boston and I got shut out. Wasnt it like that for the Irving Plaza gig in 2006? NYC local only?

    Thats the tricky part. For me I'd like them all to be open just to have a chance, but I can see the point of view of those who live close and are watching people fly in and out for it.

    But I'm in chicagoland, so if they announce it I'll just get my battle gear ready and do what I can I guess. :)

    I know the Vic was done before, but I noticed that the House of Blues is part of the LiveNation family with Alpine Valley, and no show is scheduled on Sept 1 either. Does the Vic hold more than HOB?

    I understand your view. Lots of 10C members from other cities will already be in Chicago on Thursday. They could pack a club or theater with 10C members, no fly-ins, with a Thursday morning announcement.

    HOB is probably a bit bigger.

    honestly I think PJ (if they were to do a small Chicago show) should aim for something like the Chicago Theater. Instead of like 1,200 or so people you can get 3,000+... seems like that would benefit everyone, but I'm starting to think there will be no warmup show anyway. :(

    Yea, good point. Especially since a lot more Ten Clubbers will be in the area because of PJ20.
