That said they don't NEED a warmup show... they're not new at this, but you'd think for such a big occasion they would do a warmup show.

I think with this festival, there will be a lot of collaborations. As such, I can see both the band AND the other bands being in/around chicago to meet up with each other, practice, etc.
I think they would likely hang out in Chicago most of that time.
This rumor is not totally out of bounds, so lets wait and see. but I might think that, while any other year they would probably not be in chicago the whole week, this time around, they very well could be. There is NOTHING to do in East Troy, unless Stone and Jeff really want to go camping. And reserved a site already.Turn this anger into

They may hire a venue for rehearsals when they get out there, but as for warm up, surely they'll be more than able to get back in the groove by jamming in their own HQ. It'd cause absolute bedlam if they add a warmup show.
