    they were sooooooooooo frickin good at Lolla 07. A lot heavier than some would imagine too.

    Awhlie back Mike even suggested a tour with Foo fighters. Although it didn't happen at the time (2006), it would be amazing if both bands did a co headline tour. The Foo fighters are Amazing live. (I don't understand the hate for them on here).

    Their live shows are where it's at in terms of the Foos.
    Only dowwnfall to a co headline, is that Pearl jam wouldn't play the normal 23-30 song 2.5 hour set, but anything to get them down to Texas it's been WAY too long. :)

    I saw the Foo Fighters open for RHCP back when the were touring for Californication. They didn't play any Nirvana stuff... but they put on a pretty rocking show! I was pleasantly surprised.

    The Foos don't need to play Nirvana songs...I'd prefer that they didn't. I've always liked them much more than Nirvana...just me perhaps?

    They played "Marigold" frequently on the last tour.

    Foo Fighters can be somewhat bland at times.

    They would be a great opener for PJ, and would kick the crap out of every opener I have seen with them.

    Leave the Foo's at home and PJ could coheadline with themselves.

    When that sort of thing happens, doesn't it mean that people have heard stuff and post multiple threads cause they are excited????

    I saw the foo fighters when they tour with the peppers years ago and they put on a great show, much better then the RHCP.

    They have a couple decent songs, and the musicians are talented, however, i really think they are pretty horrible. It is one thing to have a patented sound but Dave Grohl (despite being an awesome drummer and a talented front man) is a pretty bad songwriter in my opinion, almost every song is sung the same way and he always does the same guitar playing over and over. I have always expected alot more from him. Sorry to all the foo fighters fans, i just can't stand them. How about Pearl Jam and the boss or radio head or metallica (they put on a good live show).
