My hubby says I'm going through the 'change'

I have a lovely hubby but he has been on the internet looking up stuff and now he says he thinks I'm menopausal.
Should I be cross and punch him in the fudd or should I make an appointment to get my hormone levels checked?

Problem is I am exhibiting the odd symptom, but I'd like to remain in denial for a while longer.
:shifty:
are you?
Well I don't know. But I don't know if I want to find out.
Toss a coin for me and let me know if I am.
Not necessarily I could be starting now, in wiki it says 42 - 58. I'm in the right age range.
I think I'll look up some herbal remedies just in case. I'll punch him then take some herbal remedies, that'll do the trick.
just study up a bit yourself
hubby's are lovely... that was thoughtful of him to help
I have tons of those.
You know I think I will. I don't really want to go to the docs but if I am starting out I don't want to miss the opportunity to take a supplement that's going to help. Any ideas?
You too??? If I find a good supplement I'll let you know
Excellent, cause I have a bunch of the symptoms:
Night sweats
hair loss
fatigue
difficulty concentrating
memory lapses
anxiety
irregular heartbeat
muscle tension

I did read about Black Cohosh but it had some nasty sounding side effects.
DM - I think I have the same ones!! Although I'm getting more hair to be honest - in the wrong places
Reading all the symptoms I'm starting to crap myself a little.
Off to the health food shop at the weekend to see what they have.
Crapping yourself a little is actually a symptom.
the hormones can drop anytime after the age of 35 - sad but true... :(
P.S. - but if you go online - men's "hormones" drop after the age of 35 as well - but we don't talk about it as much....
I shall definately point this out to hubby

Well, I think it probably depends upon whether you're around that age or not.
I got started early, at 41. :wtf:
I love your hubby's reaction. Mine said "You can't be going through menopause, you're too young!"
I said "So glad to hear that! Please inform my body!" :lolno:
The doctor told me I was a bit young but not out of range.
I don't recall having the odd symptom though and nobody around me said anything to that effect. My impression was that it all started overnight. Other women have told me similar things.
I'll say one thing about going through it early: I got it over with early.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
menopause light
My mom has had menopause symptoms for about 7 years now, and she still hasn't gotten it. :? Hopefully you're not going through it yet! If so, I hope it gets over with quickly!
ahhhhhh, the joys of being a woman!
:?
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
That would be a lovely option
Cheeky bugger!! You're the right age fluff, 35+ for men
i have copyright on that phrase... you owe me 47p.
Anyway, not a bad idea to get a check up in any case. Hopefully your doc will 'order' a full blood check. Thyroid OK?
I shall pay you in bananas
Rita - Molly ate something cat based, then liked him, I felt satisfied
Have had blood taken and sent away and seeing the GP next week
