Looking at getting an iphone

sorta sick of my Berry. From friends that have the iphone 3 and iphone 4, i have heard that the 3 compares well. The 3 is cheaper, but i am on Verizon and it seems that only the 4 is available. is that true? i am stuck getting the 4?

    If you can, wait it out about a month. Rumored iPhone 5 release date is 9/5/11.


    My buddy is in the same boat. His BB has been lagging since the recent update. I bust his chops all the time by ending texts with "click click click"

    well....not switching off verizon, so no 3 for me

    i am off for the summer until Sept, so i figured it would be a good time to learn a new phone. i dont want to wait for the 5, so its the 4 for me.

    i have no complaints about the iPhone at all. well...maybe one...with they could make the screen shatter-proof b/c my wife has broken TWO of her screens. :shock:

    The biggest thing you will miss from the Blackberry is the LED light. I know it sounds small, but the notification system on the IPhone flat out sucks. Other than that, it does everything else very well.

    Got an iPhone a few weeks ago (iPhone 4) and love it. Know a good number of people who have switched over from BlackBerry to iPhone and i'm pretty sure not one of them misses their Berry!

    My wife is getting an iPhone 4 when the iPhone 5 launches so the price will go down. She's keeping her blackberry for work and getting an iPhone for personal use.

    You should at least consider an Android device. I've had both iphones and an Android and the Android is a much, much better device. Of course there's a bit of variation, so if you get one of the cheaper Andoids then it may not stack up against the iPhone. But if you pay a similar price, you'll likely get a superior device.

    I'm typing this into my droid right now. actually I'm speaking this into my droid with the voice feature. droids are worth looking into too, but I'm looking forward to getting an iphone too when 4g is on them.

    I have a 3GS..... Love it. Never had any issues.

    Waiting for the 5 as I'm eligible for the upgrade.

    Just gonna say one thing. Enjoy your phone.
    Android users will shit on the iPhone and iPhone users will shit on android phones. I've had both and I have my preference.

    Also, Im able to view the entire forum on the iPhone.

    I got an iphone recently and I love it. Get one if you're thinking about it!

    I love that it is simultaneously a phone, an ipod, and a camera. :)

    Wait till september. Most likely there will be an all new iphone. At the very least there will be ios5 and icloud.

    ios5+icloud+ osx lion= incredible integration.

    You cant view pm's on the phone at all and you can only view the forum on the app.

    There's a bunch Of free browser apps that let you change the browser setting from iPhone browser to iPad browser. Mercury browser lite is one of them. Entire access to the forum.

    I have one and I'm one happy customer but At&T is just the worst, I would wait a little bit, rumours of an iphone 5 are on the air, also there's a bunch of other smarts phones on the market right now, with better camera, better screen, a much better processor, so don't go blindly with iphone do some research and avoid At&t at all cost!
