I was at KOL & Band of Horses last night.

BOH were incredible & KOL usually are to but I guess last night the mix of alcohol & whatever else Caleb was on screwed him up. He was saying all sorts of crazy shit. Very short set & he was gone, they are one of my favorite bands sad to see this.

Also since they showed up and played at all Ticket bitches said we aren't entitled to anything else.:(

    I saw them in April and thought they were Awesome. Played the Houston final 4 show. I am not going tonight because of $ but I really hope things will be ok. I am worried though, sounds like Caleb is on the road to fame/ celebrity self destruction. Hope things get better, and all goes well. As a fan, I love their records, even OBTN which generated hits and hate around here, but it still had some good songs.

    Tonight's Houston gig was postponed because "Caleb Followill suffered from heat exhaustion and dehydration, causing his vocal chords to seize."

    What a crock. For the guy to flat out admit that he was going to go backstage and drink some more is nothing more than a slap in the face to his fans. I love hearing the guitarist just throw Caleb under the bus. Good for him.

    Not for nothin, but tons of bands used to drink way more than this little bitch. I mean Slash used to put away a fifth of whiskey a day and still perform. No excuse for this dude to cancel shows. His vocal chords seized because he drank to much and forgot the words to the songs. I lost a lot of respect for this band in the last 2 years. Sucks for BoH because they are a great band. Next time they should be the headliners and let KoL play 6 songs and get bombed in the dressing room afterwards.

    Drink/smoke all you want as long as it doesn't effect the performance for those that paid their hard earned money to see you play.

    There are a million guys who'd trade places with them, and seeing them fuck it up is just ugly. Be strung out off stage all you want, but if people paid $70 to see you, don't fuck it up.

    How long did BOH play for? I saw them on their own mini headlining tour and am fiending to see them again!!

    Well this sucks...

    I was supposed to see them in March and the postponed because the drummer hurt his shoulder.... So date was reset for November 4... If they postpone/ cancel I will be dirty... oh well....

    I couldnt care less is they cancel on us Aussies... I'm only going just so I can see band of horses... So if they do cancel i hope band of horses tour Aus instead :).... knew there were reasons for never liking them.

    I only just found out that BOH were touring with them... they didn't announce it at the time I don't think... Was pretty happy when I found out...

    It's funny the hate they get for cancelling a few measly shows for a legit reason and the Black Keys get off scot-free for cancelling a whole tour due to exaustion then rescheduling a much easier tour in its place. Why is it so cool to hate KoL?

    I'm not hating on them for cancelling the shows, I'm hating on Caleb for being too fucked up to perform after people shelled out money to see them play.

    What exactly is the legit reason? I can't imagine his guitar player would be railing on him if he really was sick. Sounds like a guy that had too much to drink, was too hot, and didn't want to finish his gig. Completely lame and they deserve all the criticism they're getting.
