Its called "Can't Help Falling in Love"

Surprised no ones mentioned Thin Air, seems like the ideal wedding song to me.

It's nice to see a thread about wedding song suggestions that do not include Betterman and Just Breathe.

My wife are from different parts of the country and rather than make guests travel to one site or the other, we had 2 weddings, one in KC (at Arrowhead) and one in NJ. We came out to Interstate Love Song by STP and closed with YL at both receptions. All of the guests arm over arm on the dance floor in a circle with us dancing in the middle of it.

Not to rain on anybody's parade ... but isn't Long Road, which is a funeral song, pretty damn morbid for a wedding?

Although, having been married for 10 years myself, maybe a funeral song is the most appropriate song of all :D
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
  • My husband and I entered our reception to the pj version of love reign or me. Also included just breathe in dinner songs. I wanted to walk down the aisle to the instrumental guaranteed... Mr Honeymeister said no. We used Ben Harper's "waiting on an angel".
We left to baba o'reilly. ;)
  • 1. Dont get married.

    2. If you must, play Rockin' in the Free World. I can't think of an occasion that it isn't perfect for.

My wife and I got introduced at our reception to Unthought Known, had our first dance to Parachutes, and final dance to Long Road. It was awesome. Parachutes is a beautiful song, such a great memory. Still get goose bumps. A Pearl Jam wedding is a wedding that will last!
