FS: KC 10, Cleveland 10, 09 Toronto - Price lowered

Exactly what it says...

A 1st (not S/N) of both the following posters, prices include shipping in the lower 48 states:

Kansas City 10, EMEK - $90
Cleveland 10, Burwell - Sold
Toronto 09, BK - $60

A little disclosure on the Toronto - it was in a frame, I recently replaced it with an AP. So, in taking it out of the frame, I had to remove the acid free framers tape that was attached, so there is a little tiny bit of paper that peeled off of the back of the poster with the tape. The edge is still sharp and the front of the poster is untouched. To be fair, the damage is unnoticable really, except to a very well trained eye and you'd probably never notice it if I didn't tell you.

Anyway, send me a PM if interest in either.

Cheers,

Andrew
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that 1st editions, officially being a Ten Club sold item (being that they're only available online or at the show), are not permitted to be resold for greater than face value around here.

i think they are after a certain amount of time and the 6 month average on expresso beans seems to be Kosher around here from what i can tell. I think the flipping rule was regarding someone buying something with sole intent to flip and make $ off of it. I think Shep has proved he's not one of those people. He may have just come to a point in time in his life that he needs to sell something and get fair market value for it. Just my 2 cents, if its worth that

    Gotcha, thanks :)

I wasn't trying to press the issue, just wasn't sure whether this would be seen as legit or not... After seeing one recent five-page attack on some guy for putting stuff over face, didn't want to risk letting this poster get flamed like that!

that wasnt just for over face. that was because he begged and pleaded someone for days to get him merch from across the other side of the country only to get it and flip it for double.

Are you referring to the person that begged the board to buy them some merch "please please please" and then turned around and offered aforementioned merch here for 2+ times cost?

    That disaster!

Also 1st edition prints can also be purchased at the shows not just thru 10C.

Both are two very beautiful posters, if I did not already own them I would purchase these. The Burwell is something truly amazing in person.

You can bust my balls for it if you want. If anyone has a real problem with it, I can take it down and post the stuff on eBay.... but I know you're just looking out for the good of everyone, so I write all of this with a smile on my face :D

I'm just going market value (EBeans Average price + 10 dollars to ship in the US). I purchased something yesterday (another PJ poster that was fairly expensive) and I was hoping to recoup some of the money, plus regain some poster storage space. While I love the posters I've come to realize that they're really not doing anyone any good in a portfolio under my bed... except the insurance company that reaps the benefit of me upping the costs of my renter's insurance . Unforunately I've got way too many posters for either of these to ever get displayed, and I figured there's someone out there who may like to have these. I don't see any reason not to post them at fair market value, as plenty of people took advantage of me when I first started collecting and very much overchaged me for items that were up and above market value when I didn't know any better.

I didn't beg and plead anyone to buy this merch for me... the last thing I would ask of anyone is to have to cart around this stuff for me and go out of their way at a show to buy it (well, except for maybe one or two people who are great friends of mine and not associated with this board in anyway)....

Yep, it's all good man! Best of luck selling these - I'm not a huge fan of Kansas City but Cleveland is a hell of a poster in my opinion :D

Rest Assured no one was speaking about you with the references to begging and pleading...

I have the EMEK and am not a fan of the Clevland poster, or clevland for that matter..lol

Oh I know, I read the posting and all the resulting shenannigans :D . It obviously changes the situation when you have someone doing you a favor to get the thing in the first place!

I think your prices may be a tad high and that is why you aren't getting very much interest.

Fair enough... I may hold on to both then, as I'm only asking for Ebeans average + 10 for shipping.... not really inclined to let them go for less....
