I saw Vince Vaughn at a B.B. King concert. I said, "Hey Vince" and he waved but that was it.

I've only ever met musicians and mostly mediocre hockey players and baseball players.

    Musicians that I can recall:

    Peter Buck
    Tom Morello
    Maynard James Keenan
Jeff Tweedy (actually all of Wilco)
    The White Stripes
    Wayne Coyne
    Queensryche
    Sean Lennon

    The only decent athletes:

    Dwight Gooden
    Ron Francis

How was Maynard? I've heard things...

    probably Eddie vedder,

other famous people i've met that i can think of,

    slash, briefly for an autograph
matt sorum, sat alone with him and chatted for a while the night before gnr played wembley 1991
    sebastian bach... the night before

quite a lot of other semi-big rock stars

also sorta met mike tyson in las vegas in 1995 i think it was, he was surrounded by bodygaurds and people asking for autographs, and when i got a chance, i said hi mr tyson, can you sigh this for me... he just gave me a look and then walked away.. dickhead, probably either i wasn't black, or he didn't understand my scottish accent. i'd like to think it was the latter.

also briefly met will smith, and the dude that plays carlton in las vegas (same trip) and got to be an extra in the scene they where filming. in las vegas.

also spoke to some basketball dude in LA... micheal jordon, but also he didn't want to sign anything. ass

a bunch of cricketers and footy players :)

Best cricketer would have to be this guy Glenn Mcgrath
    Mcgrath.jpg

THe most decorated footy player is probably Adam Goodes :)

But most of you would have only heard of this guy who is neither a cricketer or footy player.

Yes I did. I met them before a show on their 2002 tour. And they weren't a letdown to meet. Extremely nice and funny in person, even though they didn't know me from the next guy. And Mark crushed my head.

That's awesome, they seem like a great group of guys, humble and what not.

Mark is so funny, I remember his first episode on Saturday Night Live, they were doing a spoof of the OJ trial, had all the regulars as the lawyers, etc. and Mike Myers (as Judge Ito) points at Mark and says, "and who the hell are you?" Mark just looked around confused. Great moment.

I met Brandi Carlile earlier this year during her concert with The Secret Sisters and Ray LaMontagne.
I don't know if she's the 'most famous,' but I LOVE her...she's my favorite female artist. I got to talk to her and got her autograph!

Muhammad Ali is probably the most famous person I've met.
Some others include Eddie Vedder, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Robert Altman, and Joss Whedon.
A second cousin of mine used to date the actor Keith Coogan (of Adventures In Babysitting and Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead fame). At a family dinner out in Los Angeles, he cringed when I mentioned I saw him in a guest-starring turn on 21 Jump Street.
I used to work at a fancy food store. On 2 occasions I helped Paul Newman pick out produce. I'm a film buff so had to stay professional and not start talking about how he was so great in various movies.

I have met scores of famous people (living in L.A. and working on the fringe of showbiz), but meeting Eddie at PJ20 really takes the cake!
