Don't know much about kilts, really. I think the Irish wearing kilts is quite 'recent'. I guess they have their tartans just like the Scots have and they must come in all kinds of designs/colours....

I've been to my fair share of ceilidhs and weddings in Scotland and definitely no underwear ... no guy would live it down if it was found out that he wore underwear ... and if a guy has good legs he can definitely look good in a kilt

yes redrock-each family has their own tartan (pattern and colors) and family crest.
I do fancy Mr. RK's tartan...should have made him wear a kilt
(getting a proper kilt made is VERY pricey too)
