    I was a huge Blind Melon fan back in the day, but haven't really given them a shot with their new singer. I saw them with Shannon Hoon, twice. Once in 93 at a headlining show at the Masquerade in Atlanta and once opening for Neil Young, also in Atlanta, in either 93-94. I actually met Shannon while he was loading up his gear after the show at the Masquerade and he signed a poster for me. Still have it, too. Someday, I'll get off my ass and get it framed.

    Fantastic band. So were post-Shannon bands like Unified Theory, Abandon Jalopy and the latest Melon record.
