It's tough to pick 10, but I think that's my list at the moment. I had to think about this because there are a few on your list that aren't on mine that made me want to redefine the number 10.

Here's a list of ten---not in order, and with these guys, this could absolutely change many many times:

Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman)
    Bring it on Home
    Rock N' Roll
    The Ocean
Over the Hills and Far Away
    In the Light
    Ten Years Gone
    Nobody's Fault But Mine
    Hots on for Nowhere
    Fool in the Rain

    The Wanton Song,
    Ramble On,
    Nobody's Fault But Mine,
    Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You,
    Gallows Pole,
    Trampled Under Foot,
Hey Hey What Can I Do,
    Black Dog,
    Stairway to Heaven
    and
    The Ocean

I think it's pretty awesome how you can insert the word Fucking into any LZ song title, and it still makes sense.

    The Fucking Wanton Song,
    Ramble Fucking On,
    Nobody's Fucking Fault But Mine,
Babe, I'm Gonna Fucking Leave You,
    Gallows Fucking Pole,
    Trampled Under Fucking Foot,
Hey Hey What Can I Fucking Do,
    Black Fucking Dog,
    Stairway to Fucking Heaven
    and
    The Fucking Ocean

sorry for such bad language...I don't know what came over me.

Yeah, it's just an amazingly underappreciated album, even today. I was so happy that Page and Plant played so many songs off it when they did the UnLedded/No Quarter special.

Friends sounded incredible on that tour and is a vastly underrated song, even if it didn't crack my Top 10. ;)

It's hard to find an album more made for vinyl than Led Zep III.

Wow, I never heard that. Yeah, it would've been a lot better with those. (instead of, say, Lovely Rita or Good Morning)

I love the information about Zeppelin's version of this song... the way they acheived Bonham's drum sound is legendary.

#1 is the easy one: Ten Years Gone. After that it's a free-for-all:

    Battle of Evermore
    Night Flight
    Down by the Seaside
    In the Light
    Carouselambra
    Your Time is Gonna Come
Hey, Hey, What Can I Do
    Fool in the Rain
    When the Levee Breaks
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
