Agreed that Sleepless Nights with no amps was unreal. Talk about feeling like you are right there in a small room with Ed and Glen. Arc never ceases to amaze me. The hair, well what hair there is, on my arms stands up everytime I've seen Arc live.

Sleepless Nights sans microphone last night was like listening to a song on a vinyl record being played on a old record player with a small speaker. Classic!

Fantastic. Betterman on the Uke was outstanding. GH and Eddie complement each other can't wait to see GH at PJ20. It was great to hear Eddie say Society was the best song on the album and even cooler that Jerry Hannan was in the audience. As funny as the stories were, Eddie's attempts at Wishlist are always the best, I have never heard him get them right and I think that is what makes the song so awesome live. This time "messenger" evaded him. haha. I was hoping to hear Off he goes but maybe tonight. Great show!!!!

I will admit that the first few bars of Betterman on the uke was not winning me over but by the time Ed sang the chorus a second time through he had me sold (as he always does). All I had to do was stop comparing it to the original version I've grown to love after all these years and just appreciate it for what it was at that moment and it all made sense for me from there.

This was the most amazing night of my life!!!I have been a HUGE Eddie/Pearl Jam fan since I was 12. I am now 31 and so I have loved them almost from the beginning. Let me share my story with you....

I had heard that Eddie's bodyguard was handing out front row seats at prior shows. I decided I was going to try to make it happen for us!!! As me and my husband were standing in line waiting for the doors to open I was feeling a lot of anxiety, nervousness and emotion all in one. I wanted this to work soooooo bad!!! As we approached the doors into the lobby of the theater there I saw who I thought looked like Eddie's bodyguard. He was standing at the end of the balcony stairway. I approached him quickly. I stood near him as my husband was looking at merchandise. I wanted to wait to see if he would approach me first. I said to my husband that I think our seats are up in the balcony. Eddie's bodyguard then approached me pointing at my husband and said, "are you two together?" I said, "YES!" He proceed to pull out tickets from him back pocket and said he will trade his tickets for ours, but that we had to promise him to not take pictures. I said, "of course!" I couldn't believe it! I knew these were suppose to be in the front row, but I usually don't have the best of luck. So I thought these seats would be on the sides. As the usher showed us to our seats, my heart skipped a beat. We kept walking closer and closer and closer to the middle. We had THE BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE! FRONT ROW DEAD CENTER!!! I was in awe!!!

Eddie came out and just had an amazing set list. I mean, c'mon.... Immortality, I'm One, Sleepless nights {with no mic or amps}; and porch which always gets me going!!! About 5 songs into his set he looked down at me and threw me his pick!!! I was rockin' out all night and sang every lyric there was to sing!!!! It was the best!!! Towards the end of his set he came down to me and shook my hand. I whispered "thank you" to him. He gave me a HUGE grin!

After the show my husband and I decided to meet up with Ed so we could personally thank him for everything he did! He came out around 1am When he approached me I told him who I was. He asked how I was doing. I told him thanks SO much for the tickets! He said, "ya, ya!" He is the nicest guy. So generous, humble and really cares about his fans!

Thanks SOOOOO much Eddie and Jesse for giving me this chance to have such an amazing night. One I will never forget!!! xoxo :D

oh yes ,yes I did sir! My Cousin had a great time too. He's even a bigger pj fan now. I want to go to PJ 20 so bad now. I had so much fun, that I realized that pj/EV is the only band I would be willing to follow religiously. Oh man! I wish I could go to Seattle, PJ 20, and just follow this band around. Oh man, that is the 2nd time I have heard arc live, and had an out of body expierience, and I finally got to hear Immortality, dead man, Gauranteed, long nights, broken heart (this one kinda hit kinda hard actually considering). Epic epic show man. That pump organ song (the untitled new one, was unbelieveable).

Loved the show, and setlist. Immortality and Porch were welcome surprises, and it was an emotional and wonderful night for me! I was fortunate enough to have gone to EV's "April Fool's Tour" three years ago, so I was extremely excited to see another solo EV show. It was heavenly sitting and listening to someone I've followed for 20 years. He is so passionate, talented, and has such a pure spirit for music, it was magical being at the show. Wonderful! I will remember this concert for years!!

I'm a little late, but here it is.

All and all a very good show. I was a little dissapointed when I open the 10 Club envelope and saw balcony, but it was the 4th row and I had a perfect view. Plus the sound up there was amazing.

I really liked all the Into The Wild songs. For some reason I never got into that album until a few months ago, so it was new to me. The uke portion was very cool, the songs came off better than I expected they would. As we all know the stories were great.

I Am Mine was the first "loud" song after the Uke set and it just sounded so good. The guitar popped and Eddie's voice just sounded so good and clear. The sound was fantastic and this song really showcased it.

The highlight was Immortality, that song is so great and I have not heard it live since way back in 2000. And fast acoustic Lukin was cool too. There were less cover songs at this show. My only complaint is the show went by so fast. All of a sudden he was playing Arc, then the encore came then it was over. I could have listened to him play for hours more.

Thanks to Eric for meeting me and taking my extra ticket and for the free beer!

Oh, and I should have gone to Oakland 2. What was I thinking?
