    My 7-year-old has a "vintage" cap gun (made in the mid-'60s?) that I picked up for him on eBay.
    I remember loading those guns with pennies instead of the plastic disks. :mrgreen: It stung a little more then the plastic disk, but that's what made it fun.

    Oh, yeah. If you hit someone with a penny, they knew it. If they got hit with the plastic thing, there was a good chance they wouldn't have even felt it.

    The other advantage to using pennies was that I think it was actually cheaper to use them than it was to buy the refill disks.
