    Feb has good stuff.

    Daytona 500
Regular season basketball and hockey (non all star weekends)

    vs. July
    Baseball (net all star stuff)
    football training camps

Feb wins from an actual competition standpoint, July wins from a looking forward standpoint.

but today and wed just absolutly blow.

Agree that February is the worst. NHL season is dragging by that point. College hoops heats up at least.

July has baseball so it can't be the worst. But this week is depressing.

100% agree with you. I'm sick of ESPN trying to shove soccer down my throat. I don't care about it anytime of year including Olympics. Whippee womans soccer followed by the WNBA and then Womans softball HR derby tonight on ESPN6

Not counting the Daytona 500(driving in circles just doesn't do it for me)....February is much better than July.

  • Just try being from Seattle, The baseball season is over after 20 games, The Hawks suck but luckly the whole division is suckier, The Sonics are now in OKC. Soccer is the biggest sport in Seattle and I just realized why I don't much care for sports anymore. I just thought it was getting older but I see the reason now.

Today would be a good day for the NFL lockout to end. Or tomorrow.

About two months ago would of been good for that. What sucks when the lockout ends. The Brett Farve saga of will he come back or wont he will begin again. Which means when Farve farts sportscenter will lead with that and Ed Werner and Rachel Nichols will report on how the fart smelled and what it means to the NFL.

I never had a problem with Farve till the whole drama of him quitting not quitting started then i said this guy is full of himself.

But then again, I love all things baseball. :D

for all star games, it's the best of a bad lot....

    but it still blows.

we'll have to listen to an hour of pregame hype, four hours of waxing about how great baseball is, and how great the players are....and than we will watch 39th man battle the 40th man to see who gets home field in the WS.

i'd rather teams be 25 players. 2 catchers, 5 outfields, 5 infielders and 13 pitchers just in case.
