yeah, this week and the week after the super bowl are the two worst weeks for sports IMO
:P
Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
you know things are dull when people are pretending to care about women's soccer :?

February is by far the worst month for sports. Not even close
Feb has good stuff.
Daytona 500
Regular season basketball and hockey (non all star weekends)
vs. July
Baseball (net all star stuff)
football training camps
Feb wins from an actual competition standpoint, July wins from a looking forward standpoint.
but today and wed just absolutly blow.
July has baseball so it can't be the worst. But this week is depressing.
WF Center 4/28/16; WF Center 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22;
Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; WF Center 9/7/24; WF Center 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24
Tres Mtns - TLA 3/23/11; EV - Tower Theatre 6/25/11; Temple of the Dog - Tower Theatre 11/5/16
I agree.
(I will be watching the women's soccer though.)
100% agree with you. I'm sick of ESPN trying to shove soccer down my throat. I don't care about it anytime of year including Olympics. Whippee womans soccer followed by the WNBA and then Womans softball HR derby tonight on ESPN6
must see tv right there.
Now where did i put that key for the gun locker.
The ONLY thing better than a glass of beer is tea with Miss McGill
A protuberance of flesh above the waistband of a tight pair of trousers
even worse, i believe comcast sportsnet is replaying that game tommorrow night :x
Not counting the Daytona 500(driving in circles just doesn't do it for me)....February is much better than July.
I just may have to set my DVR to record that.....I can never get enough of that game!
i hope your power goes out. :P
wed is the 05 sox clinching game.
6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2
ill take women's soccer over how my white sox are playing...and that was a sick game yesterday. i didnt watch, just saw the highlights...but still...
the couple weeks after the super bowl are pretty bleak. but by the end of the month college hoops is heating up heading right into the madness.
today blows but at least mondays and tuesdays are my late days
Luckily my power didn't go out today.
I can never get enough of that 05 Sox clinching game either....I can't even count how many times I've watched that...thanks to the dvd boxset.
Key Arena - Nov 05, 2000
Gorge Amphitheater - Sep 01, 2005, Jul 22,23, 2006
Key Arena - Sept 21,22, 2009
Alpine Valley - Sept 3, 4 2011
All we now have on TV is baseball and I hate that sport.
Agreed, I'd rather watch flies fuck.
At least there's plenty to do outside.
I bet you can find that on the good ol' internet. :?
6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2
About two months ago would of been good for that. What sucks when the lockout ends. The Brett Farve saga of will he come back or wont he will begin again. Which means when Farve farts sportscenter will lead with that and Ed Werner and Rachel Nichols will report on how the fart smelled and what it means to the NFL.
I never had a problem with Farve till the whole drama of him quitting not quitting started then i said this guy is full of himself.
I’ll be watching.
But then again, I love all things baseball.
people still watch sportscenter?
for all star games, it's the best of a bad lot....
but it still blows.
we'll have to listen to an hour of pregame hype, four hours of waxing about how great baseball is, and how great the players are....and than we will watch 39th man battle the 40th man to see who gets home field in the WS.
i'd rather teams be 25 players. 2 catchers, 5 outfields, 5 infielders and 13 pitchers just in case.
