I look at it like this...

Is it the jury we should be criticizing? Casy for getting away with it? Or the Prosecutors for not presenting their case better.

I have been on several jury's. We have no idea what they were able to see, what they were not able to discuss, or ignore. Sure from the outside looking in, the bitch got away with killing that poor child and the idiot jury members let her go free, but maybe, just maybe, again, another state prosecutor didn't do a good job at proving their case.

    Ya think?

i must live in a hole in the ground
a friend told me i would have been a good juror on this case beings i never heard of it
my friend said everyone in the country has been watching and talking about this trial, which made it hard to find jurors, she said

i havent a clue about it and i like that

As surprised as many of you are out there today this is what happened to me when the verdict was about to be read. I had hardly any interest in this case but it's Florida and I'm here with a fiancee who was obcessed with this case. I'm listening to the radio today and ALL the stations stopped to here the verdict LIVE. I did not want to hear it so I turned on my cd player and this was the very first song that came up....

    METHOD TO THE MADNESS

    Heaven is burning
    No birds sing
    Heaven is burning
    It’s a silent spring

    Party is over
    The circus has left town
    It’s the morning after
    And you’re coming down
    Down
    Down

    Hell is frozen
    Crashing dreams
    Cities imploding
    Worlds unseen

There’s a method to the madness
Like there’s a reason to this rhyme
    The ultimate weapon
    The perfect crime

    Take me by the hand
    Don’t you know
    The dammed don’t cry
    I can get so low
    That I am high

There’s a method to the madness
Like there’s a reason to this rhyme
    The ultimate weapon
    The perfect crime

There’s a method to the madness
Like there’s a reason to this rhyme
    The ultimate weapon
    The perfect crime

Listened to the song and the rest of the Living Colour album then waited for everyone else to call me to tell me what happened. I was the same way with OJ disinterested in THAT case too. In the end it's sad that no one at the moment will pay for little Caylee's death...NO ONE.

I don't care what anyone says . that girl went in there and played her cards . Yes she might have or did kill that little girl . Not saying that .

But she flat out beat the prosecution by not giving them nothing to build there case on . they had nothing . Nothing but a story and a theory just like we all have .

I know i learned allot Use your 5th amendment more stop telling on yourself . there is nothing to defend if you give them nothing !!

took her 31 days to report that her 2 year old daughter was missing. that would have been enough for me to convict her if I was on the jury

also, she was found guilty of lying to law enforcement. If she was innocent why would there be any reason to lie?

  • Here is my thing, no parent would wait 31 days before reporting their child missing. Something is fishy here and I get "reasonable doubt." However, I just don't see how there is any room for reasonable doubt in this case. I think Casey did it, it may have even been an accident, but I think she had something to do with it.

Well for years and years and years....
I have heard everyone on this board, when talking about those WM3 child murderers, tell me there is no DNA evidence.......

So they got the verdict right this time...
    Right???
Cuz its all about the DNA....

I'm kind of confused why this case got so popular in the first place.

I mean, I'm guilty of being caught up in the verdict as much as anybody, but Casey Anthony is not a famous figure like OJ Simpson was, so it's odd that this created such a media stir.

    I blame Nancy Grace.

I hate Nancy Grace so much. If there's one thing I can say I like about Casey walking free....is that I'm sure it upsets Nancy Grace. Grace has asked on her show "Who benefits from the death of little Caylee?" Newsflash bitch: YOU AND YOUR RATINGS DO!

that is exactly right. there are cases similar to this one all the time, cases similar to scott peterson all the time and so on and so on.....people like nancy grace latch onto one case, any case, and make it a circus, turn it into the biggest, sensationalized thing ever in the world and when its over, they look for something else.
It's disgusting to me in every way possible. Grace's show and others like it were no more about honoring caylee than the trial was actually about right and wrong....it was all about ratings for Grace and all about winning in the courtroom. Our society is fucked up.
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Actually, justice is served, from what they had to use in court.

I think it's easy for people to get their feelings in the way, just because we all may think she did commit the crime. But without the concrete evidence, it was very forseeable that she would be acquitted. I agree, people need to put their feelings aside, and realize that without evidence, the jury would never agree that she committed murder.
