    When I was at PJ20 I heard from some of the staff that they will be closing Alpine and not be doing any concerts at alpine any more.
    Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...

    My friend called there the other afternoon, and a girl said they "didn't have a date yet. But we're always the last to know." And so my friend asked if she meant that there was nothing planned or if there was just no date, and the girl just repeated herself in her answer, and said to call back in January or February.

    This sounds the time Michael Jackson came over to your house to use the bathroom. Oh wait, his sister. Anyway, this would be awesome but I doubt it is true. And I was sober both nights and loved both shows (and not having to leave to use the bathroom), but it did suck having to drive home with obvious drunks on the road. Alpine needs to let people stay in the lot if they need to.

    Honestly, I wish this were true.

    It would be nice if Pearl Jam had an official annual event, if only so the fans had a place to congregate to each year. We can't make every show, but if we knew there was a special event in advance a lot of us would surely make the trek to see them. It would also give the band a chance to play some pretty unpredictable setlists for a crowd that would actually appreciate it.
