    I am following the USA, they should have much better chances than the men's team. Next game for USA is on Saturday at 12 noon vs. Columbia. I think its on ESPN

    Just got caught up with watching USA win against Columbia 3-0, so the USA will go through to the quarter finals. They play Sweden on Wednesday, and will win the group if they take that game. This is important because 2nd place in this group will face winner of group D which will most likely be Brazil.

    well, USA lost to Sweden 1-2, and will end up 2nd in their group. Will now play Brazil in the quarter-finals on Sunday.

The self-goal by Brazil was early and then the PK by Brazil was early second half, leaving more than 30 boring mins between goals. I guess the build-up was good being as Brazil scored quickly in extra time and it took until the 122 min for the USA to tie, but that left me with 30 mins of extra time boredom.

    So even though I was bored I was excited. Is that an oxymoron?

    Maybe it's cause I don't watch soccer all the time. Like I watch baseball just about every day. So there's something about the novelty of soccer. And I guess there are boring bits, but the exciting parts are just insanely exciting.

    Oxymoron might be right.

    Missed chances
    Great Saves
    stellar defense
    Amazing offensive creativity
    Fake injury
    Fake injury leading to extra time where USA scores tying goal


    this game had it all except of the 9-8 score it could have been if chances were made

    if this game was not exciting to you, soccer never will be exciting to you, just reality speaking.

    Soccer is a hard game to watch if you have not played, or coached

    That was great. I don't think I've ever gotten that excited for a women's sport. Now that Germany is out, US should have a really good shot at winning this thing..
