I'm guessing you weren't in the 10C back then - we didn't send in postcards. A postcard, which was essentially an order form, was mailed to active members of 10C. You got to order 10C tickets to ONE show per tour. Never heard of anybody getting shut out of a show back then.
Back in '00, I pre-ordered 10C tix for Vegas, and still managed to get TM tix for San Diego the day of the show. I just think it's more fair if everyone gets a pair of tickets to one show per tour through the club, giving everyone a better chance to see at least one show, with decent seating - then if you wanted to go to more than one show, you'd have to buy the others like the general public.
I like the idea of more people at fewer shows, then fewer people at more shows...but then again, I'm also a communist.
You could only get tickets to one show per member on this tour. So now what?0 -
Reading these posts makes me so nervous, I could puke. Day 2 chicago tickets sold out in like 2 seconds, so I wasnt able to get them from tenclub. I resorted to stubhub. If I dont get in, I'll be the chick crying on the curb outside the theatre. Someone come give me a hug.Feel the sky blanket you with gems and rhinestones...0

To the OP and to anyone else that has ticket issues and has used stubhub-ebay-paypal...
DEMAND TO SPEAK WITH THE VENUE MANAGER!!!! There is ALWAYS someone in charge at the venue! Talk with them about the situation, get their name and direct phone number.. explain that you will be calling stubhub in the morning and they might want to see the ticket or speak to someone to verify that it was indeed fake.
If you buy off the street from some random person, try not to be alone! If there are 2+ in your group, buy the ticket and make the scalper wait with your friend until you're safely inside the venue. Beg a big stranger to watch your back if you're by yourself.
Great advice. worried when I get game tix outside a venue. But I think sporting events during the season are less likely to be faked. Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...0 -

If you bought them from Stubhub, at least you have a level of protection. Check out the info on the first page of this thread, have their 800 number and your order details handy just in case, and do everything you can to hold onto the tickets. You're in a far better spot than someone who bought them off Craigslist.0
