A public broadcast station in the Netherlands (responsible for some 2 million - mostly younger - listeners, on average - which is *very* nice for a population of 16 million) published their new chart "Heavenly Hundred", on which listeners could vote for their best album ever (and which will be broadcasted this Thursday, Ascension Day) - link here : http://www.3fm.nl/page/3fm_actueel/262631/.

Pearl Jam leads these charts with the TEN album, to most of you no surprise. Still, good to know that after this many years of bringing the album out, PJ is still voted the best in The Netherlands !

By the way, also still interesting to note that May 30th-June 1st Pinkpop in Landgraaf, The Netherlands, is being held. The same festival that PJ couldn't make last year. Perhaps they would reconsider filling their empty agenda with one Dutch concert, knowing that they are still massively popular here :=) ?

Ten is the shit! Quality all the way and a deserving champion!

I was at the show in Nijmegen last year and I was surprised to see so many people there. The hotel reported an estimate of 60,000, which was 10,000 more than the Rolling Stones managed a few weeks prior!

    Amsterdam is an amazing city!
    I will swallow poison
  • Ten is one of the best rock albums ever.
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

I am glad to hear that! Though must say that 3fm on the whole plays a load of crap music and I have to turn the radio off after 2 minutes every time!
If the EVER play PJ it is either "Alive" or "Jeremy". So, when will they start listening to what their audience wants to hear?

Maybe next year we should vote a newer PJ album into the first 3...maybe, just maybe then they'll understand....

Holland just has crap radio stations that only play good music during the nights...what is up with that?!

Wish we had something like StuBru...
Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?

cool but I am not really suprised after seeing Pinkpop dvd for the 100th time and having been in both Arnhem and Nijmegen.

    BTW

Ten is my all time favourite album ever as well.
