During Bee Girl at Mansfield 2 I was pissed off at the number of people taking pics with flashes. I was in the 4th row and turned around and most of them were coming from the 2nd level inside. It was like a lightning storm and really distracting!
did you not realize they were taking pictures of you??? you're a SUPERSTAR !!!
Man, Mansfield II was a an awesome show. The only problem was some tool in the 4th row kept turning around with some wheeny looking scowl while I was trying to take a photo of the band. Wish that guy could just chill out and get a life.
CAMERA POLICY FOR CONCERT ATTENDEES
Small, handheld cameras welcome.
No flash in the first 20 rows.
No detachable lenses.
No professional still or recording cameras.
No sticks.
No video cameras.
If they were more than 20 rows back, this was ok.
We know that it says it's OK to use flash more than 20 rows back, but I think you're missing the biggest point of this thread. IT DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD TO USE A FLASH AT A CONCERT. It actually makes the picture worse. It "washes" it out.
Well, I must have missed something then because this was the first post-

It would seem to me that the rule would be no flash at all (not just 20 rows)if it bothered the people on stage. The rest of us have our backs to them.

Hartford and both Mansfields were some of the best shows I've been to. Awesome weekend!
