During Bee Girl at Mansfield 2 I was pissed off at the number of people taking pics with flashes. I was in the 4th row and turned around and most of them were coming from the 2nd level inside. It was like a fuckin lightning storm and really distracting! WTF people they aren't going to work anyways stop being dicks!

I laugh at the people who uses flashes at shows. The only thing you're lighting up is the back of the persons head in front of you. The pictures come out much better if you do not use a flash and just mess with the settings.

I snapped a few photos in Hartford and both Mansfield shows. some with flash, some without. And yup, got the backs of heads in a few of them then just deleted those photos.

Oh...I did sit 7th row one night and 10th row another night. The last thing in the world that I was distracted by was camera flashes....even when I did look around at the crowd. In a small venue, I can see that it would be distracting to the band and can reluctantly agree with the 'no camera' policy at one of those venues (reluctantly only because I'd love to have my own photos of something like that if I were to get tickets!). But if anyone taking photos truly annoyed the band, they'd see to it that the camera policy would be changed to "no cameras".
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

  • Ummm... possibly the fact that the last time they played Bee Girl was.... in 2006 and last night was the EIGHTH time total?

Exactly. Flashes from more than a couple of rows back are simply idiot beacons. It helps the rest of the crowd figure out who the morons are.

When you take a picture how does that correspond to the song. It's just a pic (unless it was video).

It was like the fuckin paparazzi for paris hilton in there.

I promise this is my last piece on this. I've gotten it off my chest and made my point known. I will shut the fuck up, now.

My friend and I go to alot of pj shows, we never bring cameras, never get rowdy, but honestly it makes us easy to figure out who the idiots are when they act like this. Just come on the measage board and read all of these silly threads, and spend the rest of the day laughing about the nonsense that gets typed in here.

People are allowed to do what they want, why should it bother you enough to act like an elitist.

How can people take pictures at a show, are they fucking crazy, they must not be fans, or maybee they are just iddiots and have no lives right, Or better this, how can someone who hasnt been to 50 plus shows even go right, they arent true fans, and for the people who arent lucky enough to be in the first 50 rows they should just not go in.

Or how about warning CASUAL CONCERT GOERS, HOW FUCKED UP SOME OF OUR FANBASE IS, THAT THEY SHOULD JUST WALK IN SIT DOWN NOT SPEAK 1 WORD, DO NOT GET UP FOR 1 BEER GOD FORBID YOU DO THAT, NO BATHROOM BREAKS, AND SIT THERE WITH YOUR HANDS FOLDED AND JUST MAYBEE YOU WONT GET MADE FUN OF.

I'll type this really slowly so you'll be able to follow. I didn't say people can't take pictures. I didn't even say I was particularly bothered by it. I was simply commenting on physics, and stupidity.

    CAMERA POLICY FOR CONCERT ATTENDEES
    Small, handheld cameras welcome.
No flash in the first 20 rows.
    No detachable lenses.
No professional still or recording cameras.
    No sticks.
    No video cameras.

If they were more than 20 rows back, this was ok.

I know, its just to assume people are stupid over something so silly is elitist. You also do not need to type slowly for me, a first grade education is all you need for this post.

There comes a time when people especially fans of the same band should consider themselves =. It would make fpr a better environment.
